You have the same Maverick package that I have. The key lock has worked since I tested it at the dealership. It might be a manufacturing defect. I do have the co-pilot 360, but I thought the locking tailgate was standard.
I think my Maverick is a cool truck. I buy for utility not flash, a vehicle is for transportation, not for showing off. None the less, I am very happy that the Maverick is flashy, and, to me, a very cool ride.
After Fed-Ex "delivered" my fenders, somewhere out there, I had to get a refund from Amyzon and found the exact same ones on E-Bay with free shipping. Arrived in two days, but due to some things I didn't get to them for a couple weeks. Finally got them installed.
For 15 years I drove a 2005 Excursion. Yes it was a pain in most parking lots, but I left it stock ride and it was solid and felt tight to the road. Several times I was forced to make sudden maneuvers to avoid morons and the Excursion handled like a sports car. I had a push bar on the front that...
I'm 5' 10 1/2" or so, with a 35" inseem, so long legs. I'm used to short seats so had not noticed any difference from other cars. I think the seats are comfortable when adjusted properly. Longest trip was 2 hours on the road and no problems.
I had intended to show the completed trailer by now, but Fed-Ex delivered the fenders I ordered a week ago, and used the invisible box method. I was in the yard working when they say they dropped off the box, but no! Still waiting for a response.
I got the deck installed, and 2X8's were less...
The divider board has been upgraded. I used a spray on gray plastic coating and put on new hooks. These are a little larger than needed, but I wanted a strong hook.

With the cover on I wanted to add a board to hold cargo. I cut the board a little short, 54 3/8 rather than 54 1/2 as I wanted to add some protection to the ends of the board, which I forgot to buy, so used some towels for testing. I will add some thick flannel from the craft store soon. I also...
I added d rings to the upper empty mounting holes on the XL trim. I had to tap out the holes as there were no threads. Simple to install, and does not interfere with the covers rear clamp.
Last upgrade is the lettering on the tailgate.
Not sure what is next!
What was in the box. The box was a bit larger than needed, and not much packing, but everything was in good shape.
It was an easy install. Just the mounting bracket clamp and the break away strap clamp.
The cover in place, but not clamped down.
It looks good, time will tell how well it lasts.
I went XL for the price, and I didn't like the XLT interior. Still ended up getting the 2.0 to get the 4k tow, which morphed into the AWD. I out on some wheels, and I just got a folding cover, and have a few little things to put on.
