I go on this forum everyday to read, and learn things about the Maverick. People complain about rattles, harsh ride, radio Is not quality etc. If these things bother you, buy a car, "NOT A TRUCK". Again they state this is my first new car, It's a Truck! Over the years, I have bought many vehicles, most used, 10 to 15 new. (I've been driving 66 years) stop comparing apples with oranges. Trucks do truck things, move a refrigerator, if you want comfort, buy a Camry. Just my humble opion. The Maverick is the best bang for the buck out there!

I love ours. No problems. Some people have legitimate complaints when they break down and have multiple problems.

Some are ridiculous OCD people who probably scream at the waitress when their coffee is a half degree too cold or hot.

I just put the OCD'ers on ignore as they can't be helped and only try to drag you down to their level of misery.

It's more or less the nature of forums and the internet in general. No one is going to log into these forums and make a post just to say "I got into my truck today and drove to the store and everything was completely normal and uneventful. Just another boring day running errands in my truck." You'll only get posts when people have issues, have questions, or have general grips. It's the nature of the beast.

For me it's more or less what I expected at this price point BUT I think people are getting tired of CV axle, deep sleep and other electrical problems.

Some here think that at this price point you should expect problems. That is false, at this price point you should expect less than perfect road noise, interior materials, fit and finish etc... Fundamental function of the car should not be an issue.

Many of us here have had good Maverick experiences. More than a few have had less good or even miserable experiences, and we can all learn something when they report their experiences.

Love my Maverick. I am upgrading the speakers, but I’d do that with most any vehicle, already upgraded son’s Kia and Wife’s Bronco Sport…. She has the B&O system….. other than that, just minor upgrades. I’ve gotten my mpg up to 35 with my EcoBoost…. I drive a little over 150 miles per day for work

Got in my truck this morning to go get bloodwork done and everything worked normal. Another boring, uneventful drive to get things done. Well maybe not boring. I love driving my Mav even after a year and a half!

We absolutely love ours, but it was clearly built to a pricepoint. For $20k-$25k, the Maverick is a freaking deal. If you spent >$30k, I can see how you may be a little miffed by the quality of a few things, but IMO $10k of faux leather, a mediocre (at best) "upgraded" stereo, and some more tech features was just lipstick on a pig.

Both things can be true. I love my Mav. I also hate the recalls, 2 months it spent at the dealer waiting for parts, and some quality issues. I know that I got what I paid for though.

It's not a 'truck'. It's a Escape/Bronco Sport with a bed. That distinction doesn't matter anyway. I fully expect my F-150's to be every bit as well built, feature laden and reliable as my Edge's or Maverick.

Now I do notice this forum has a disproportionate amount of complaining about complete non-issues vs other vehicle forums I've been on. Hood too high, rear view mirror to low, rotary shifter....really?
