Went out on some errands today with my Dad and every time I came back to my truck people would be standing around it and checking it out haha
Talked to a guy and he asked me what it was because he thought initially it was a new style ranger. Another Gentleman was confused be cause it was a hybrid truck.

Any one else having the same experiences with people and your truck? lol

Today I went to the dump, and one guy asked my wife about the truck, and they talked a little whille about it. Then another guy comes up to me asking, "Is that the new Maverick? Is it as good as all the hype?"

I have had several people slow their walk as they passed by in parking lots... I have an XLT area 51, sibl, 400w inverter, full sized spare tire... it's definitely a good looking little truck.... by the way... ordered mine July 2021...received it in March 2022...worth the wait to me...

My parents live on a fairly busy corner. I park on the side of their house when I visit and you can actually watch people stop to look at the Maverick. My dad laughs and calls me to the window.

I don't see any advertising on t.v. so some people really haven't seen a Maverick yet. Give a year or two and you'll see a lot more on the road.

Yes, people stop me and ask about my hybrid Maverick XL in Velocity Blue truck all the time.

In a Sam’s parking lot, I parked far away from everyone else. When I came out of the store, a Ford Heavy Duty truck was parked next to mine. A lady was unloading up her flat cart into the bed of her truck. She said “nice baby truck”.

I filled it up with gas the other day. A lady and her daughter were filling up their SUV ahead of me. She pulled up just far enough for me to fill up mine when she was done. They both loved the Velocity Blue color and the truck itself.

In Lowe’s the other day, I came out of the store and two guys were walking around my truck. We had about a 15 minute conversation. They had their own business and have an F150. We talked about it being a hybrid, and how it would save them money on gas and insurance.

I make and deliver raised bed garden planter boxes. Various customers tell me how much they love the truck!

It’s a definite conversation starter!

For me, I love this little truck, its versatility, gas mileage, the way it drives and rides, and the looks!!

All the time! Normally all good, but last week I was fishing one of the ponds around my house and had a cop pull up, for sure thought one of the Karens around called on me. Nope! He wanted to talk about the Mav . He's going to order when the books open up again, but hadn't gotten to actually get close to one yet. Spent about 10 minutes talking about it and showing it off.

On my way home from the dealership, first day of ownership I had a guy pull up next to me at a stop light, honk, and give me the universal "roll down your window" motion. He asked about the truck and asked if he should buy one.

two days later I'm in the parking lot of my church and a guy drives by, stops, and talks to me about the truck for about 5 minutes. He thought it was the new Ranger and was blown away that it was hybrid getting 30+mpg.

I drove by another guy in a maverick and we had this funny - point and laugh -
