I've had my Mav since Jan of this year. I might get a wave if I pass another Mav or in the very rare occurrence pull beside one at a stop light. I live in Metro Detroit and believe Mavericks just "blend in" with all the other vehicles on the road from GM, Ford and Chrysler (or Stellantis more accurately). If I were driving a Ford F150 Raptor or RAM TRX I'm sure I'd get much, much more attention.....lol!

I was at my local Wawa parked next to a lifted Dodge power wagon with 37's. Two guys came out of the store and gave me thumbs up and giggled a little and said "cute " I laughed and knew they were trying to mock me . They backed out of the paring space and "bam " ! I pulled out and figure they hit sign post which they did but also caught the front corner of a Honda Civic. I gave them thumbs up and giggled a little myself as I left the parking lot. That was a start of a very good day ! Bret
Karma! 😆

Yes. Here too. They often get on it at stop lights to impress us with their 12" wide M/Ts, 12" lift' 12" diameter exhaust tips and turbo whistle. I'm guessing they may be trying to compensate for some shortcomings in themselves. We all seek validation in our own way. I suppose that's why I'm writing this. Also, loud vehicles annoy the shit out of me. I'm old!
You wouldn't like my 68 Ranchero, then.

I see the guys in the ultra-lifted trucks and I think, "Nice truck. Sorry about your dick."

Hope this finds everyone safe and well. Anywho, I was curious if any of you have been getting your Maverick a good looking over by someone. I was at a light yesterday and a guy in a black Jeep Gladiator rolled up next to me. As if being Cyber Orange wasn't enough, he seemed to focus on my blacked-out hood with the "Powered by Ecoboost" decals. And then he slowly rolled forward, damn near face against his window looking over my Mav trying to catch sight of the front. When the light changed and a casually took off, he hung back and, in my rear view mirror, was checking out the rear as if trying to comprehend the truck. He finally accelerated and slowly passed me by with a brief wave. Sizing up the competition, I guess.

I'm sure you all have some such experiences as well.
Next time say it's PPV lol

Once at home depot in almost 12 months, nothing otherwise. People around here just don't care about cheap vehicles, every drives big expensive stuff. Most of the truck guys point and laugh when they see it.
I hope you point and laugh at them when you’re at the gas station 🤣

When I got my 1st Maverick in Dec of 2021 and on the way home from the dealer (Philly) everytime I stopped for a piss and more coffee (old guy thing) I got a lot of people asking what was it, they never heard of a Maverick.

Speaking of goats, I spent the last 18 years of my day job in the goat locker. For those of you that don't know it was the best job in the world.

Length 224”
width 79”

Just a bit larger than a Ford Ranger
My Maverick fits in my garage, my 68 Eldorado doesn’t ☹ Almost got a tag that says “8-9 MPG” 🤣
