Good job keeping track. Interesting to see something like this.

A little worried about the "friendly" people that I may come across. Part of the reason I sold my '69 Camaro a couple of years ago was having to deal with people. I would come out of a store and people would be sitting on my car taking photos! I've never been to jail, but I almost did a few times!

Then you would have the, "Sweet Mustang, I had one!" Or, People wanting to drive it and not wanting to take 'No' as the answer. A 5 minute store run turned into a 30 minute conversation with a crackhead. Cops. Cops just loved to eyeball you; "Officer, I am coasting at 15 in the 20. It's just loud."

Every once in a blue moon you would get that older gentleman with his grandson that knew what he was talking about. Hands in the pocket respect when walking around it. Those were the good ones.

......

Almost forgot the people that would just about run into you while going down the road because they wanted to eye the the car instead of driving their own. Your eyes are your future, people!

Introverts love a car they can pour their time into, but hate the social repercussions! I totally feel this!

After I hit 100 and stopped tracking data, I immediately stopped scanning people and making eye contact. The rate of people engaging me has already plummeted! Just one yesterday.

I actually got to 100 way faster than I was expecting. I thought it would take 3 months. Was more like 6 weeks.

On average, about 2 per day. But they skewed to weekends for sure. I didn't track that specifically though.

Mine is a beautiful Velocity Blue. I love the look in the sunlight.
I imagine other people do as well as it stands out from all the other black and dark gray trucks!

I was torn about which color to buy. I love silver and the CG as both trucks are very balanced with the black plastic trim. In the end, I like the brightness of the VB and as a tribute to my dad who never bought anything but blue trucks, I got the VB.

How do you like your CG Lariat?

CarbG was not my choice but the ability to get a hybrid when I could only order an EB outweighed any color choice! I wanted CG, A51 or silver since I like having a lighter colored vehicle in FL. Don’t get me wrong, I love my FE CarbG truck!🥰

LOl, nice write up! I got a lot of that with the Bronco. What made me nervous was when they changed lanes to get a better look. And start to drift into my lane!
I'm betting I'll get gawkers when I finally get my Maverick.

Had mine for a month now and a little surprised at the lack of interest. The drive-thru teller at my credit union did ask about it a couple of days ago, that's the first and only time I've had anyone show interest in the truck.

Yeah, I think in my case the bright color gets them to look over and then they realize they're looking at something different. Being in Washington State in Winter, if it was a shade of gray, silver, blue or black probably no one would notice.
