very nice, looks like it came from the factory like that.I bought a cubby drawer (etsy) and hang the opener from it. It's recessed just the right amount and gives something i can push against to push the buttons. Thankfully, my opener is kind of small.![]()
I've had that remote for years. First thing put in the truck when I brought it home early this week. Perfect fit, it's like the dash cubby was designed for it.I bought this style of Liftmaster remote and put it in the cubby.

Nunya, I see the 536 has the connecter on top of the windshield mount. Does that interfere with the black plastic cover on the top of the windshield? Do you have any pictures of it installed? The one I installed is a Gentex 536. However a Gentex 453 is a popular one that I see installed in Mavericks. There are probably many other Gentex models that will work. However pay close attention to the mount. Make sure that the mount is the same as the Mavericks. Also make sure that the wiring harness is included with plenty of wire. Hope this helps...
I took someone on this site's advice and bought a little box from Etsy ($25) that was made for the cubby hole, and mounted my opener on it. I consider it a temporary fix, but it works fine, The box is unusable for anything else with the opener on it. I know that down the road Ford will come out with something for that cubby hole. Then I will have to find a more permanent solution. I like to keep my cars and trucks as factory as possible, so I am reluctant to change the rear-view mirror.I had been keeping my garage door opener where it seems most of you keep yours, the little square hole near the cup holder. But, at night, it was hard to find and with no light at that time, it was hard to use. So, I moved mine up to the 2.5"X4" hole to the right of the GPS screen. I used one of my wife's unused pot holders, and just clipped the opener on it and stuffed it into the hole. It is a perfect location, out of the way, and easy to find and reach. The problem is, it's temporary. I need something more permanent. Something that fits the decor a little better. Maybe a 3d printer can print a soft plastic hinged device that not only will fit, but looks good. Maybe utilize the space behind the opener for a coin holder or plackers or something small. I'll be the first customer for a permanent solution. I would like to send a pic of what mine looks like, but I am not good at posting a pic except on certain chat groups.
Um how did you get your infotainment screen so bright??I bought a cubby drawer (etsy) and hang the opener from it. It's recessed just the right amount and gives something i can push against to push the buttons. Thankfully, my opener is kind of small.![]()
I don't think I did anything - that is the way it has always been.Um how did you get your infotainment screen so bright??
That is probably the same one I have too. A little difficult to remove with the opener there, but not impossible. Might be a good place to store some seldom used smaller things.I don't think I did anything - that is the way it has always been.
A little late, but this will convert almost any garage door opener to a smart opener. How do you convert an opener to a smart opener? Mine is about 10-15 years old and probably incapable of learning any thing new. Thanks for the comment.
