I have had multiple sets of TPMS on my Mav and I have never programmed anything so I think the tech was just misinformed. I'm in Reston but about to move for work, can't say I'm a fan of the DC area in general. I'm sure Lakeridge is nice though.NVJ, I hope you're right. I have something that might reinforce your opinion. After the technician installed the new wheels, he had to program the new sensors. His hand-held device wouldn't do the trick, so he had to come back the next day with a different device. He told me that, in the interim, the dashboard will read "low pressure," BUT IT NEVER DID. When I told him that, he couldn't understand it. Maybe it was automatically reprogrammed and he made a wasted trip. On the other hand...
Where are you in NoVa? I lived in Lakeridge the last 22 years of my career.
