I have a 2022 XLT with a 17 inch wheels if I trade with a 2023 for the 18 inch wheels will our TPMS sensors work for each other’s truck or will we have to swap sensors? Will it need a computer to relearn them for each truck or will the trucks just figure it out after a few miles or so does anybody know?

I believe you will need to register them with the vehicle. Discount tire has always done this for me for free, and they do it quickly.

2022-2024 Mavericks use the same 315 MHZ TMPS.

2025-26 Mavericks use 433 MHZ sensors.

They should self learn. My 2022, 2023 and 2026 Mavericks (and Raptors/Bronco Raptor) all self learned within a few minutes/miles when rotating the tires or upgrading wheels/tires...

Good luck

On a similar note, I'm thinking of mounting a set of Bullit wheels on mine and know I'll need the correct sensors. Wondering if the new sensors would be automatically recognized or have to be programmed.

Also, has anyone tried fitting the late model Mustang wheels to our trucks? Have also thought of the 17" ones if the offset and caliper clearance is there. Tire size would be critical here to match the OE circumference and diameter. A little wider wouldn't hurt my feelings though.

The truck should automatically recognize new Ford OEM sensors, mine have...

Late model 5-lug Mustang (S650) wheels use a 5x4.50" pattern. Maverick trucks use a 5x4.25" pattern.....
