Cooled seats
Absolutely!! I have heated seats and a heated steering wheel, and I live in…Florida!! The cooled seats would be an appreciated addition to those of us that live in hot weather states!!

Both seat issues
1. Split rear
2. Driver adjustment memory

I’d want a bigger battery so the truck could run on electric power easier and longer. Double the battery size and effective mpg would go through the roof.
Ford won’t do it because it would cut into their full electric vehicles
The math shows me different. Current coach shows from what ppl post in here that the battery is only doing 10% of the work. Double would be 20%. Double that for fun, 40%
I wouldn’t call that, “Through the Roof”
But it would be an improvement obviously.
50 mpg average would be a nice goal to aim for.

ok let's all pretend we're in the room with the next Maverick cycle refresh team for a moment and they give you ONE thing on the next truck that you can change/remove or add...what would it be? 1st thing i would say is that they did good with our beloved little truck but there's always room for improvement. i don't mean your whole 'wish list' , just that ONE thing or feature that Ford should consider next, i know there's a lot more that we would all like but that's for a different thread. my biggest beef is having to reset the drive mode EVERY time i restart the truck, it's just asinine IMHO. i mean really how much would the chip or circuit that could retain the last selected drive mode add to the MSRP? i know it's only 4 quick button clicks but why not just be able to choose a driving mode you like and then go on with your life? what say you? i think we could do ourselves and Ford a great service here with our feedback as we are what i believe is the preeminent online Maverick truck community, if they pay attention to us we could actually have a impact on the next Maverick, how cool would that be?

+1 on the vehicle maintaining the drive mode.
Being able to set the auto stop setting to OFF by default would be my one thing.

Okay, maybe not putting mpg through the roof, but with double the battery and changing the computer to allow the HV battery to be used more often, it could provide a noticeable bump in effective mpg.

Then there's no need for multiple trim levels.

What year is yours?
" The 2024 Ford Maverick offers three interior color options: Black Onyx, Navy Pier, and Desert Brown. The Maverick XL base trim comes with Black Onyx, while the XLT trim features Navy Pier or can also be equipped with Black Onyx, "
My 23 came with a blue interior

Again, you could change before you put the truck in reverse. It's an inconvenience for sure, but it'still not what you said.

And I average overall about 40 mpg in normal mode. In warm weather that number is about 50mpg. Some of us want to have a pleasant driving experience while we do it.
No Sir, my 2023 hybrid will not engage eco mode in park. That makes some sense as while in park the truck is powered by the battery unless you hard press the accelerator to start the engine. I'm out of my subdivision and still driving on battery power before the engine kicks in. And the only way it will engage eco mode is to drive it a few blocks and while in motion eco mode can be engaged. I consistently average 43 mpg in eco mode but have never seen 50 mpg. I am up to date on all recalls.

Engaging Eco mode while in park in a 2023 Maverick XLT Hybrid:

Right now, in normal mode, I'm averaging 44.4 mpg on my current tank of gas and it's still in the high forty degrees in the morning. I'll do around 50 mpg for like July and August (but it's of course balanced by my 35 mpg in January and February)

It may work for your XLT but it absolutely does not work for my XL. I wouldn't have a complaint if I could engage eco in park as I could do it before driving. Waiting until I've driven a few blocks means I often forget to change the mode because I'm focusing on other things. I wonder if there's something in the menu that would allow changing the mode while in park?

It's the exact same computer system and drive mode selector in the XL as XLT. This is default behavior.

Get in your truck. Start it but stay in park. Clear all the popups with the OK button on your steering wheel (it can't display the drive mode selector until you do). Hit the drive mode button while still in park.

It will work.

IF I had a second thing it would be the option for full-size interior handles.
I hate those half handles. They look like something is missing, I feel like my hand wants to slide off, and my jacket catches on them. My first change was adding those little cups to fill the gap, although I don't put anything in them.

I like the handles because I can get my hand on the end and close the door. Much easier using ALL of my hand to close it than just my finger tips. I have to ask how your jacket catches on them? Do you get in backwards and the pocket catch? Serious, not making fun. Since I didn't get mine until spring I haven't had a jacket on. Thanks if you can give me pointer to watch for.
It's a big denim jacket that I've had since I was a lot heavier. I never button it and I'm good at catching it on door handles 😆
As for the handle, I use all my fingers when reaching through it, just like on every car I've ever had.

The radio defaulting itself to level "7" on the 2025 every time the car is shut off. Why? WHY!?

I was able to do it after clearing with the ok button after starting the engine in park. That's a lot more effort than turning on the switch and driving off under battery power. Defaulting to eco mode when switching on makes a lot more sense.
