Another thing that you can try, if there is something stuck between pad and rotor, is to find a wide open space, maybe a large open parking lot and then get up to speed in reverse and then hit the brakes moderately hard, then stop and repeat.
if something is stuck it may come loose in reverse...
Could be something stuck between the brake pad and the rotor.
If you're technically inclined, pull it apart and clean it, otherwise have a repair take a look at it.
I know the hybrid has a longer warranty and it's also a mature technology, so that's secondary for me.
I'm more concerned about all the electronics, which would be covered under the 3/36 warranty and would get very expensive very quickly, ergo, the thought of getting the warranty.
Power windows...
I'm like a lot of others, where I've never been big on extended warranties.
With that said, on my previous car, a Fiesta with the DCT transmission and with the problems Ford had with that trans, I opted for an extended warranty.
Now with the Maverick, which has more electronics and sensors and...
A lot of older cars had a 'kickdown' linkage connected to the throttle linkage, where it would downshift when pressing the gas pedal to the floor.
As for the automatic versus manual, I adjust to whichever one I'm using.
I do prefer a manual, since I know what I'm about to do before the...
If you don’t mind going to Miami, you can get a new 24 Lariat with 2.0l ecoboost for $29,991 before taxes and other fees.
Put it on the auto train to bring it home
I bought a 2019 Fiesta and there was an ST Line version and I found out that basically the ST Line was made to use up as many left over parts as possible on the last year of the Fiesta.
Sounds like the same deal on the Escape, so if an Escape interests you, the ST Line will give you more...
Get a dart board, mark different areas of the board with different mileage intervals and then throw a dart and thats when you should change the oil.
I had a similar deal on my wife's car, a Subaru Outback.
There are a couple of plastic pieces where the paint didn't stand up well to weathering over time.
The paint company provides different options, I chose the three can deal.
Sanded the pieces off the car, primed them, did a couple coats of...
I would mess with people and show them the side of the adjustable wrench in mm and tell them I needed standard and it would confuse the heck out of them! Lol!
I'll have to take some pics but I have a carbon grey metallic and I did carbon fibre raised letters, so they're close but still are noticeable and I think they look good
First dings are annoying at minimum or can be wtf just happened?
My first was a star crack on the windshield and then the frustrating one is when my wife opens the passenger door into her car door and then says, it's all right, where I can feel the nick on the door edge.
The worst part of...
Nuthin' to get flamed about.
I don't tow anything or push my Mav hard, but I prefer to know what's going on in my vehicle and using an inexpensive OBD2 BT adapter and carscanner app allows me to monitor various aspects of my truck.
I also use it to check on my wife's car, for check engine...
It also means that you hit the button on the end of the turn signal stalk, it's a toggle for on\off.
Plus in the menus, you can change settings including what it does and the sensitivity
