I am curious about the different makes/model/year/ mileage of the vehicle you had B4 your new Maverick and what option or feature you might miss most and wish the Maverick had. i believe that with the Maverick Ford has a "conquest" vehicle thats pulling customers from other manufacturers and market segments at an incredibly high rate .does the real world data as represented by this community reflect that supposition? for me it was a 2013 loaded Escape Titanium that i purchased new in 2013 with 93k miles when traded it in. the feature i miss the most for some reason is seat/mirror position memory buttons, a Lariet level truck should have this IMHO, folks willing to pay extra for a Lariet Luxe package would certainly not balk at the few extra bucks Ford would have o add for this. we are a 2 vehicle family but Wifey is driving the new Mav way more than she ever drove the Escape and whenever i get in after her its a pain to find my 'favorite' seating position once again, i know in the great scheme of things this may seem trivial but everyone has a right to their own pet peeves, right?

Jeep Cherokee. Didn’t need the 4WD in TX like I did in MN. Plus twice the mpg.

I came from a '05 F-150, extended cab FX4 . I bought it used when it was 9 years old with 118,000 miles. My daily driver for 7 years . Definitely, Ford Tough ! Sold it with 263000 miles on it for $4000 , and put that money down on the Maverick XL Ecoboost AWD (2022) . I was getting 15.5 mpg in the FX4 . Now 30+ in the Maverick. I would say that I miss the heated, power side mirrors . Seems crazy, but in the north (Jersey) they definitely helped in the winter . My only real hope for the Maverick is that it's as tough, trouble free, and lasts as long as my FX4 . So far , after owning the Maverick for 14 months now, it's been a champ ! 🙏🙏🙏🙏

2018 Ford Escape AWD. Wish my Maverick XLT Hybrid would have been available in AWD but I still have my 2002 Dodge 4x4 if I need it.

We'll be coming from a nearly identical built 2019 Ford Ranger with 31,000 miles. We'll miss the slightly longer bed but will figure out the work around. Wife won't miss the climb into the truck she wants a truck closer to the ground.

They are all on my list. And the Maverick lacks many of their features, like CD player, crank windows, removable top, bedliner paint, solid axles, transfer case, V8s, steel bumpers, winch, over 3 ton tow rating, rust, deep rust, rust holes.

But aside from the last 3 I think I will be more than happy with the Maverick, once I cover the in dash tv set with some duct tape it should be all good.

I traded in a 2015 VW Passat TDI SEL with 65k on the odo. The Passat was my highway/distance ride, pulling 48mpg at 65mph. Diesel was getting too expensive, realities to gas, and I got super lucky finding a dealer who someone had just pulled out on a 2023 Hybrid XLT, so I jumped on it.

I also have a 2020 Silverado Custom 4x4 double cab, but the Maverick currently averaging 47mpg mixed use, is my daily driver.

Had a 2021 Bronco Sport that I sold back to the dealer while they were finishing the build on my 23 Maverick. The Sport was an Outerbanks and was a great car. My wife and I both love our Maverick and enjoy it. We have another 21 Sport Outerbanks so it’s it’s a toss up as to which to drive. Both are great cars!

One unicorn to another. 2004 F150 natural gas 7700 gvw. Bought from utility at auction with 68000 miles, able to go in commuter lane solo. Cng went from 1.50 per gallon to $5.28 overnight in 12/21; go figure? At 13 mpg I started looking for another truck, wound up liking Mav ordered and waited forever till4/27/23! Sold to carmax for 4000, $500 more than paid in 2017. Check out 7 lug wheels!
