While the Maverick comes with a decent option list, what options would you like to see that aren’t offered?

mine would be memory for the electric seats. It’s a pain after the wife drives my truck to find just the right setting that I had before.
HomeLink Garage door opener, navigation, electric passenger seat, ventilated seats, color choices on interior, a few more exterior colors, rain sensing wipers.

This ⬆ plus ventilated seats. Or, at a minimum, winning lottery tickets stashed in the cubby.
Yes I forgot to include the ventilated seats. Here in FL, I would much rather have ventilated ones than heated ones. I don't need to heat the seat when it's already 110 when i get in my car.

Hybrid AWD.

By the way, we dropped the Lux Package because our dealership will install aftermarket heated seats and we are having Line-X do the Bedliner Spray-In.

Below are some features I was unaware the Maverick did not have when I ordered.

Auto dimming mirror (my 2001 SUV had that)
Split bench back seat (WTH)
Selectable drive mode memory (that can’t be too difficult)
Drivers door roof pull handle (really?)
Insulation between front fenders and cab (duh)
Engine cover (looks like spilled spaghetti)
Fog light option (hey, I’ll pay for it!)

I thought these things would be a given especially as I ordered a Lariat w/Lux.

Homelink mirror with auto dimming
Foglights (particularly LED)
LED taillights/third brake light
LED turn signals that also act as running lights
Side mirror turn signals
Power-deploying tailgate on the Lariat, or at least a dampened tailgate

There's not a lot but it would be nice to have the option to cherry pick popular options on the XL.

  • SiriusXM capability
  • Standard Cruise
  • Leather seats
  • Sound deadening (spray on or mats)
My wife wanted a Hot Pepper Red but my wife and I didn't care for the interiors of the XLT and Lariat. We decided to buy an EB 2.0 EB XL and with the money by buying an XL, we'll buy aftermarket options. I've added Spray-in bed liner, soft roll up tonneau, hood/bug screen, SiriusXM, and will buy the switches and enable cruise through ForScan. Ultimately we will add leather seats and replace the speakers adding a modest amp. When we are finished we will spend about the same as a XLT w/lux package.

Roof rails.
Split rear bench seat.
Not really as an option but just better stock speakers.
