Would you want a Maverick Raptor or Maverick RS?

NEITHER!!! all i wanted was a regular or extended cab(that no adult can physically fit in)no real need for back seats, but since they exist I'm inclined to keep it clean and available to passangers. if the slate had a range of 400 miles or so with awd I'd jump ship, Even if its not as capable off-road.

I don't even need an RS, give me an ST.
2.3 tuned to about 295-315hp, all wheel drive with the Lobo/Tremor rear diff, Euro/ST style flat bottom leather wheel and some nice recaro seats like I had in my Fiesta ST and I'd seriously consider trading in right now.

Electric vehicle - a Maverick ? No hell no - don't ruin a damn good truck with electricity !

There won’t be an RS because we have a Lobo.
All electric, I see that coming within the next few years. I feel ya Brother.

Remember what they did to the Mustang name plate, they put it on an electric car.

They tried for a long time to sell an electric F-150 here. They had just one, it was blue.
It got loaned out several times but no one would buy it.
Guy finally buys the truck. Trades it in about two months later.
Seems the range goes down the toilet when you try and pull a utility trailer in these Appalachian mountains.
Imagine that !

As far as I know a flat lander bought the thing.
My Ford dealer has Not ordered a second one.

The F150 Lightning was easy to design - plenty of room in the frame for batteries. A Maverick EV would probably need its own platform. I'd bet that the next generation Maverick will have an EV for sure, if not be standard EV by that point.

Since Mustang Mach E utilizes a modified version of the C2 Global chassis that sits under Maverick, that would not be a very hard stretch....

they could very easily do both
st/rs - factory lowered , recoro seats ,sway bars and 2.3t @ 330 hp , exhaust system
raptor - fox shock /1.5 lift ( over a tremor) 31" tires , recaro seats 2.3t @330 hp, exhaust system

My opinion is this is an sconomy vehicle. Moving it upmarket is good for Ford's margins, not the buyer. But everyone values money differently, so you may think differently.

I believe it will be a Maverick Raptor - to complete the line. here's why you have the Bronco, Bronco sport, Bronco Raptor, Ranger, Ranger super Duty ( coming later this year ) Ranger Tremor, Ranger Raptor, F150, F150 Super Duty F150 Tremor, F150 Raptor, Ford wants to offer every option in their line up of respected truck classes.
So , I believe you will have the Maverick, Maverick Tremor and Maverick Raptor.
Take a Tremor and add a package that includes a lift of 2 to 4 inches a set of 33 inch wheels, bash plates and some aux switch in the interior and and there you have it the Maverick Raptor.
