The “P” means that your in park and cant move. To disable this, put your foot on the brake and use the shifter Knob to switch it to “D”. D means drive which allows your Maverick to move.

I think its showing driver is only in car and buckled. I don't know how to disable it, but wouldn't it be cool to know who in the back seat isn't buckled without saying someone isn't buckled. You'd know who immediately.

Lets you know who's buckled up & who is not buckled up. On page 117 of manual (customizing cluster display), it appears you may be able to deselect this screen so it doesn't show up.

You should be able to change that screen view to not show the passenger occupancy by scrolling through with the steering wheel controls and switch to something else you prefer

Lots of smartasses on this forum. That is what I've learned so far... 😁

Jokes aside, from the answers above, it appears that the popup is not something that every Mav is getting when starting, which leads me to believe it's a problem specific to me only.

I will keep investigating and will share any findings in case someone else will experience the same.

And just to be clear, if everyone is buckled I don't see why this alert should be displayed and in needs to be confirmed with the OK button. I find it senseless besides very annoying.

You are right. Every once in a while I get that same popup.

OK, I know that whenever I get my truck (if I ever get it) I will be displaying every available button to determine its function/purpose. I nothing against asking questions in this forum but the only way I will learn every single thing regarding this vehicle is to mess with it. And then after messing with it I will be whipping out that owner's manual to learn even more to reduce the unnecessary option available to me. Only way to really learn what this thing is made of. But, yet again, I still have to first get a build date.

Yes, you can disable it so it does show up, I did it on my truck. It’s in the cluster options, were you check/uncheck what you want to see on the display.

Mine is the same way. It’s not just yours. I haven’t found a way to shut it off yet either.

Chief, I didn't miss it. There is nothing about my question on page 117. Over and out.
