Love love love when the weather is nice opening all the windows with one-touch. (Had to put a towel under the rear middle seat belt though, it was flapping really loud in the wind. Buckling it just made it worse)
How do you do that? Seems like an awesome feature!

I don’t know if it’s really a “feature” per se, but I really like that when I accidentally drop stuff between my seat and the center console it ends up underneath the seat instead of getting stuck. I had a real hard time fitting my big, stupid hands down in that gap in my Accord…

Courtesy wipe? I mean, I've heard of a courtesy flush, but a courtesy wipe?
When you use your wiper fluid to clean the windshield, there is usually some left under the blade after the 3 wipes and it blows back onto the windshield creating spots/streaks. The courtesy wipe is where it automatically does one more wipe after 10-15 seconds to clear the drips/blowback/streaks that remain.

Monroof tilted with back window open. Creates a perfect breeze through the cabin without the road noise you get with the windows down. So quiet you can hear the birds chirping while you drive. Not really a hidden feature. More enjoyment of a specific feature combo.

One thing I noticed was the hvac fan speed would slow down when making a phone call and speed back up to original speed when the call was over.

Also my headlights always revert to automatic even when I phycally turn them off. My other cars only do that if you leave the switch on auto.
Dang, they’re automatic?

My favorite way to drive!

Actually some good info here that most of us have never considered. Obviously not all responses due to the usual things that keep some of us from letting our grandkids on the site. No place for the foul language. No one is impressed.
I agree! I’ve read so many things I’m heading outside even though it’s sunny and hot to check out all these nifty things I didn’t know I had! Thanks everyone for your contributions (minus the foul language posts that I just skip).

When I arrive at my destination, without putting the vehicle into Park, when I turn it off, it automatically goes to park and I can leave the vehicle without any problems. Totally awesome.

• When I open the door, the truck shifts to park.
• All the forscan mods. Especially traffic sign recognition
• The infotainment center which keeps getting updates rather than going obsolete. Coolwalk is cool.
• The I Heart Radio app and Spotify which work without a cord
• The app that reads my thumb drive and organizes all my music and lets me search by artist, genre etc.
• The yeti thermos with the Maverick logo I received in the mail.
• Ford points which bought my bed cubbies and keypad
• Campus Ford in Waynesboro, VA. After giving up on my local dealer they showed me that a Ford dealership can be efficient, friendly and fair.

That courtesy wipe had me frustrated a few times in the early days.

  1. Wipe windshield
  2. stop
  3. a few seconds later courtesy wipe
  4. doubt self and tap the wiper switch assuring myself it is off
  5. GOTO step 3
It's called the 'Drip Wipe' to get the drips after windshield washer operation. My EcoSport doesn't have it and it's annoying.

Noticed today the automatic brake hold DOES NOT work when in reverse.
I don't know why I thought it would.
But seems odd it does not.

I have noticed there is some form of time limit you can drive in EV mode.

Now, I've been PARKED in EV mode and the engine didn't restart for 90 minutes. So no temperature or emissions benchmark to meet in Park.

In drive, no matter how full the battery is, engine usually comes on in 2 minutes after key turn. Maybe 3 minutes.

When I put my Hybrid in Sport Mode, it generates sounds effects simulating shift points. I feel like a real sporty guy, whereas in reality I am just saving gas.

The Ford Audio settings has the normal things like Bass, Trebble, etc. But it has a mode for "driver" which balances the audio channels for the driver. This is nice since I drive alone a lot.

Wild ass guess: it might because in drive it's applying the creep force so it needs to start the engine after some time to circulate the transmission oil for cooling.

I use that one, too.

I think there’s also a setting to boost the sound with higher speed, although it’s been a while since I mucked around in the settings, and I don’t notice the boost, so maybe I’m misremembering.
