I always thought it looked more like a hippopotamus (especially in grey). The two circular lights are the nostrils, the windshield is the eyes, the mirrors are the ears, and the air intake below the lights is it’s big, doofy mouth.

Apple Maps shows your upcoming turns on your phone screen with CarPlay showing the actual map. It’s nice if you have a series of close turns coming up so you know if you need to get into a specific turn lane or start changing lanes right after turning.

I have the same problem with Spotify in my truck. It happens both when my phone is plugged directly into the truck and when I use my wireless CarPlay dongle. I don’t have this issue in my wife’s CRV. Not sure what phone you have, but I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max and I’m running iOS 16.3.1.
