28 3cu-ft bags of mulch fit very easily. It could probably hold double that, but be pretty far overweight.

Camping trip. We ended up having to give some stuff away because we couldn't fit it all in coming home.
During a trip last month from Wakefield, Kansas to Indianapolis, Indiana - about 650 miles with a large sofa, chair + ottoman (with my wife and our dog Mozart)

Impressive,I must have missed these pictures do You still post on Here?Hurricane Beryl laid several trees across my driveway. Had to chop them up and haul them to the back field to get out of the driveway. Most impressive AWD made repeated trips towing heavy branches into the field that was an old rice patty, without getting stuck in the mud through standing water.
New respect for the traction control system, because it wasn't the slick tires with 55K miles on them that kept me from getting stuck and hauling trees like a team of mules.

A week ago, I hauled my Harley Street Glide from the summer house storage, 220 miles south. It weighs 880 lbs. I added 3/4 pressure-treated plywood extending over the tailgate to distribute the load, along with some tailgate support straps. The sag was not terrible, and the ride was fine and uneventful. I'm going to add the universal airbags to help eliminate the sag. It got 28 mpg going 65 for the 220 miles. I ran in eco mode on the back roads for the extra braking, and normal on the highway. I also ran Ford Edge rims with 245/55/19 tires that are load range 107. They take 50lbs of air, but I ran at 45. No squirm at all.
