FYI Living Earth out in Katy had a front end loader with a bucket only 4' wide so it was a lot easier on them to drop it inside the bed rails.

Has anyone hauled 1500 lbs in the Maverick bed? What was it like?

I did a bit more than that and it wasn't too bad. Take your time and don't make any sudden movements. Most of my braking was done with the regenerative braking so I didn't notice any braking issues.
But I have hauled a lot of stuff in many different sized trucks over the years so just know your own limits.

(4) 10 ft gates from TSC are no problem with the HFT bed extender and some ratchet straps.

Hurricane Beryl laid several trees across my driveway. Had to chop them up and haul them to the back field to get out of the driveway. Most impressive AWD made repeated trips towing heavy branches into the field that was an old rice patty, without getting stuck in the mud through standing water.
New respect for the traction control system, because it wasn't the slick tires with 55K miles on them that kept me from getting stuck and hauling trees like a team of mules.

What have y’all towed?

In 24,000 miles I finally need to move something over 4,000lbs so I’m calling in a favor to tow my 6,500lb tractor.

In that time I’ve saved about $3,200 in gas over the cost of an F150, plus about $1,600 less in insurance, and the truck costs about $14,00 less than an F150.

How much do y'all think you're saving?

Effects nationwide even on the left coast. I have two equipment suppliers from south TX who told me I'm SOL for a while.

I carry this and more 5 days a week on a swimming pool cleaning route. Approximately 300 lbs of chemicals in bed and around 150 lbs of Hammerhead pool vacuum. I average about 100 miles per day.

Nothing fancy - I did test-fit my aging 6-2 carcass into the back seat, passenger side, to see how roomy it is. Not bad, but I wouldn't want to take a long trip sitting there. Sitting behind the driver, with me piloting, is best left for very small people.

Not as roomy as my Escape or the F-150 was in terms of back seat room, but I really don't use the back seat much for people.

10’ scaffold boards and poles

the staff at the rental company didn’t want to load them in with the tailgate in the middle position, but I find it better for keeping things at the font of the bed when underway.

Which tailgate position do you use for long items sticking out past the tailgate?
