For those storing fire extinguishers, where are you mounting them? Laying under the rear seat sounds like a bad idea especially in extreme heat.
Mine was in its box behind the rear seat. I've now relocated it to the cubby in the bed. A mount would be nice.

Although I haven't even received a build date for mine yet, I think, and encourage everyone, to carry a fire extinguisher what with the recent post by Sirslayer of the demise of his Maverick 2.0 ecoboost and the now 2nd underhood fire recall looming for the hybrids....

Agree, just don't forget to store it standing up an be careful with the min/max storing temperature range. At both extremes, it may go off on its own...

Most of the usual stuff listed by other is in my Maverick as well and in addition, there's an emergency seat belt cutter and window hammer tool as well. I hope I never have to use it, but it could come handy in an accident...

I haven't really put anything into mine yet, but typically I keep a couple of tie-downs/bungee cords, a moving blanket, and since we get lots of snow here, from fall to the end of spring and snow broom, scraper, and gloves.

It's actually always a good idea. You never know when it could come in handy for any number of reasons.

And sign it off monthly too. I say it in jest but checking it monthly really is a good idea.

Just home brew car care kit, tire patch, hitch receiver, compressor, jumper cables, pretty much everything I ever needed to keep my 99 ranger on the road that is obsolete taking up space now. 🤷‍♂️ It'll probably sit in there for a decade waiting to be used as needed.
