NO/HYBRID-ENGINES AVAILABLE

I would like to see Mitchell Watts of Town & Country put out a You Tube video response to this. They are a huge outfit on You Tube and he can certainly speak to this.

Following along as an interested party. Plan on placing a hybrid order for 2023 MY and spoke with my dealer on Tuesday of this week about ordering a EcoBoost in the meantime. He claimed he still has approximately 125 Maverick orders (75 of them hybrid) still unscheduled and stated that he thought Ford will be bumping some Hybrid orders to the 2023 MY.

It seems Ford may not have cut the ordering off fast enough or did not anticipate the demand for the hybrid. Another debacle, not as bad as Bronco but bad enough. They need to get the Lightning right or there will be a mutiny around the half ton truck world.

So, I am not going to doubt the OP until there is some clarity.

I knew the Hybrids would be a problem ordering months ago. Got the Ecoboost instead and I`m very happy with it.

Joke or not, they are your only hope. Perhaps speaking with them in a calm and intelligent manner would help your communication with them. Other than that, you are at the will of your unscrupulous dealer.

I ordered my hybrid Mav in late June. Don't expect to see it until 4/1.

Your must have been loaded out or with a low allocation dealer. I ordered my hybrid 7-20-21 and it is being built week of 1-31-22.

You may have a better case against a dealer ADM when it comes in if this dealers actions are bogus.

They dont make all the PARTS for that engine, they "Assemble it" SO if there is a critical part shortage somewhere, thats totally possible.

I thought that was the case but was not sure. I was also positive they stopped taking orders because they knew their hard limitations. This dealer IMHO is worse that an idiot but a deceptive crook.

And technically the Maverick Hybrid engine is just a modified Mazda L5-VE.

I mean, or its true? It is awful odd that orders placed all the way back in JULY or 2021 still havent been built yet. There is definitely something going on IMO.

I'm willing to bet than many orders from June, July, & August, were not properly placed by buyers & dealers & many are never going to get a MY 22 truck.
