I would like to see Mitchell Watts of Town & Country put out a You Tube video response to this. They are a huge outfit on You Tube and he can certainly speak to this.
Following along as an interested party. Plan on placing a hybrid order for 2023 MY and spoke with my dealer on Tuesday of this week about ordering a EcoBoost in the meantime. He claimed he still has approximately 125 Maverick orders (75 of them hybrid) still unscheduled and stated that he thought Ford will be bumping some Hybrid orders to the 2023 MY.
It seems Ford may not have cut the ordering off fast enough or did not anticipate the demand for the hybrid. Another debacle, not as bad as Bronco but bad enough. They need to get the Lightning right or there will be a mutiny around the half ton truck world.
So, I am not going to doubt the OP until there is some clarity.
