Website now showing "Limited Availability" for all Maverick trims

The Limited Availability is from a query on the backend. It looks like it is based on the zip or dealer.
I don't know enough JS to see how it is querying it, but I wonder how it is showing up for some but not others.

I'm not seeing any of these "Limited Availability" banners, but...

Sometimes when a company is getting ready to do something (like limit availability later in the production cycle) they prepare the necessary website code ahead of time so they can just pull the trigger when the time comes.

Unfortunately, sometimes that trigger gets accidentally pulled before it should be. And sometimes on a distributed system it takes a while to get the damage repaired on all servers and bring everything back into line.

That could be what happened here. Who knows?

When this thread was started I wasn't seeing this "Limited Availability" anywhere on the Ford Build page but now I am. I am in Texas.

It is definitely an issue for orders with the Hybrid Engine as seen in the following snapshots:

Only If you select Hybrid does it show "Limited Availability".

I bet if you toggle the 2.5 to 2.0 the limited availability will disappear.

I just tried it again. When I went to ford.com, build your maverick, it said limited. I hit the refresh button and it disappeared. Weird.

Well, limited availability just appeared for me in DFW Texas and toggling does not make a difference.

Let's hope this means "... Going forward."

There is a new video here from tim bartz. It's approximately 4 minutes long.he states ford is closing out Maverick hybrid orders in November. Idk if that limited availability banner has anything to do with that or not. Check for verification.

I mean it is limited. The press release from Ford said that 22my hybrid mavs have almost filled their orders for that model year. Says they will be closing orders probably in November and not reopen them until summer prob for 23my

Appears this is consistent with Ford's announcement that MY22 Hybrids are expected to sell out in November. Spotty appearance of the banner is likely to do with server caches, wierd internet shit.

This makes you think about MY22 filling up on Hybrid by November. Those vehicles will be built by summer 22? They aren't taking any more Hybrid orders until then... I wonder if my July 19 order will get produced by year end.
I am glad I ordered a Hybrid early - they are in demand, much more than Ford calculated.
