I have 2 full size spares and a Maverick XL. I’m thinking about putting them in rotation with TPMS sensors, but I don’t know if the spare rims are similar enough to the factory XL rims or if the spare tires are even worth consuming.

Don’t do it. The “full size” spares are smaller than what’s on the truck. Lots of threads about this. It is 215/60/17 rather than 225/65/17.

Maybe if you had 4 but probably not even then.
