Hold up, wiper motor could get water logged and malfunction? Dou you happen to have the TSB? Since new I've had problems with mine getting kinda stuck and thumping around only during rainfall, and complaining every time to the service department of my dealer lol. This might finally make me feel validated lol.

I was told by a car salesman once to always drive into a spot. He said you should never back into a spot. His reasoning was all the expensive stuff is at the front end of the vehicle. If someone backs into you in a parking lot, you’re more likely just to lose a bumper instead of your radiator and everything else under the hood. Personally I can see advantages to both ways.
Oh really? The plastic cover for our rear bumpers is over $800.

I completed six recalls from the first run on 2023 Hybrid Mav. Just received two new ones. Wiper motor could get water logged and malfunction. Back up camera can "freeze" and create an illusion the rear is safe when camera is frozen. Guess will need to call in another mobile recall diagnosis soon. At this point, wondering if I should wait until I collect 5 before getting it done. It is like collecting recycling cans. Should I collect more before turning it in and wasting a trip?
Has the backup camera recall been resolved it still looks like they haven’t figured it out

This brings up a funny online debate I saw. Do real pick-up drivers back in or park forward into spaces. 😂😂

You back in. For large trucks, you gain an advantage with a backed in truck because your steering is at the entrance to the spot and allows you to maneuver immediately. If you have to back out of a space, you can get stuck with having your steering lagging the rear wheels. I learned very early on that you either pull out of a space or part next to an island so you can drive over the curb and into the island.

No idea. Not sure a fix is even out yet. I haven't seen where it affected the 24's so that may be news to them. Will talk to the dealer next time I am in.
Ray...I have a 24 XLT Hybrid and my back up camera has a delay when you put it into Reverse. It has never "frozen" once it is on....but the delay for the initial pop of the screen when going into Reverse varies. It's never the exact same duration of blank screen. But to answer your question, yes, 2024's have an issue.

A letter and a prompt in the service thwart of the app, but no current resolve.

I think that’s the longest recall to remedy I’ve ever seen! If it means they’re gonna have to replace the infotainment screen and make it brighter I’m all for it😂
