3 years in and I still love my Maverick. As for the recalls, why do people make such a big deal about them? For the most part, they are MINOR and fixable via simple software updates.

What's the difference between Maverick recalls fixed via software patches the endless Windows 10 software patches? Or the constant patches for smartphones? That's today's technology. Now obviously issues in a motor vehicle that leaves one stranded can be far more serious issues. But software updates to fix intermittent minor issues IMO no big deal at all.

I had 4 of the Maverick recalls performed in my Driveway, no inconvenience at all.
It’s a problem because we paid a lot for these vehicles and they come from the factory with problems that should have been fixed before leaving

My 2024 AWD Eco Lariat has had zero recalls.
Ford Is working so hard to keep production from falling farther behind.

Volkswagen is coming after the Mav now,
With a pickup truck.
LoL
They were going to do that years ago, a V10 diesel twin turbo that never came to fruition. I'll believe it when I see it!!!!!

Nice job, Ford. ANOTHER 5 recalls to throw on the pile of another dozen. It is no wonder that I and probably most others will not even bother having these addressed anytime soon, until some time in the future when the influx slows down. Why bother? Mr. Farley: so much for your quality control czar that you hired. Getting worse, not better. Shame shame shame. I was such a fan with the many Fords I have owned. You must now EARN any future business from me. The customer is NOT the beta test.
Am I the only one out here that feels completely failed by Ford?
Possibly. I personally appreciate how Ford is very aggressive with their recalls; I don’t see a lot of car companies being so proactive. 👍

I see those recalls are all fixes for repairs done incorrectly to a relatively small number of vehicles. Considering some of the idiots working in the auto repair business, this seems forgivable. The fact that Ford is actually aware of these errors AND can track them to individual vehicles speaks well of their configuration management system. I think it would be wise for Ford to automate the update process in order to reduce the considerable impact of such human error. They could easily have a tech plug into the OBD port and click one button on their laptop to automatically update ALL modules to the latest "integration tested" configuration. Of course, I kinda think this could happen over home Wi-Fi with owner permission and no tech involvement at all, but that's too risky and I get it.

yeah I have about 6 of these to eventually get fixed (had the grabby brakes fixed...), the good thing is that since I got it in 2022 I really have not had any problems with it over 25K miles.

Ah, no thank you on Ford accessing my home wifi. Do that and we may need software updates or recalls alright. On our routers.

First time buying something designed and assemble by humans?
The quality alone is horrendous which ford needs to address instead of cutting corners. I have personally had my maverick in the body shop twice for a repaint and rail dust removal both of which should have been addressed at the factory. But that’s what we get for letting ford cutting corners

You're not really bright, are you?
You want rail dust addressed at the factory?
Take a sec and think about that.

It’s called putting a protective layer over the vehicles before you ship it out.
