I’m a fan of the turtle wax, easiest to apply of any I’ve used so far and great results! Three years so far. Mine was ceramic with graphene, and now just ceramic.

Within a few days of taking delivery of my 2025 Eruption Green Maverick Lariat AWD Hybrid I did a clay bar treatment on it (which I highly recommend). I also took some measures and applied a quality wipe on wipe off sealant. I recently was talking to a very knowledgeable paint and body shop owner about our RV’s and he told me about this TurtleWax Product and that he started using and loved the results and actually gave me a demonstration on his vehicle.

I decided to order a few bottles and after washing my Maverick today I decided to give it a try. After drying it I used one micro-cloth to apply it and a second one to buff it out by hand. I was very happy with the results and the ease of applying it. We’ll see how it holds up but for now I plan to reapply it monthly I did the entire truck in less than 30 minutes…

I've been using the TurtleWax ceramic for the past 4 years on my 2022. It checks all my boxes: affordable, easily acquired, great results, a little goes a long way, and long lasting protection. If I may, let me pass along this: very important to read the directions. I had a tough time with swirl problems until I followed the directions to use a damp cloth to pick up any excess. Your Maverick looks great!

I have relied on Turtle wax products for most of my automobile ownership life.
They always have had easy, or relatively easy, to apply products'
Their ice products have served me well, and like I that I can apply a decent shine and protection in less than a half hour.
Recently, I bought their Graphene paste wax which went on very easy, took a bit of time to dry, but buffed out nicely. It is supposed to be good for eight or more weeks. One can apply other products over it as well. This on our Florida 2022 Honda CR-V. (my Mav is in hibernation in NW, OH. )
So, I use Turtle Wax Shine and protection spray, followed by their Ice Spray wax, and then the Graphene. I use Meguier's Gold car wash with Carnauba Wax to wash. Every once in awhile I wash with a Simple Green solution to remove oily residue, and not interfere with the paxes and polishes.
I have never used a clay bar, and probably never will on recommendations of my body and paint men.

Yes I had some streaking ,with turtle wax, not on the Mav, but on my wife’s fusion in Oxford white. Yes the reapply and buff with a wet microfiber cloth worked.

I love that but with the unibody construction I'm more worried about what I can't see. Here in the upper Midwest they're way too liberal with the salt which will rot out the structural stuff.
Good day

For your particular issue of salt on roads all winter long, the spray they are talking about here would probably be great to help protect the outside of your truck...

You might want to do what I do every year. I book in at a local reputable Krown oil type undercoating to have our vehicles protected every summer.

The people I have used over the years have always done a great job.

I always thoroughly wash our truck-and the wash I use has a drive over under-side wash feature if I get the Platinum wash.

You can try to do the same if you want with a pressure washer, but I would rather run the truck through the wash twice just to make sure I have gotten rid of most of the salt and dirt buildup.

I do the washing the day before my appt so the truck can dry for its appt.

I do run my truck through the wash every couple of weeks on the winter, depending on how much driving we do. And I always get the underwash done.

Hope this helps you with your concern,

Andy

I have been using this since I bought my 2022 Maverick after reviews on line. For what it is, it works great. Gives a really high gloss shine and last a good while. I usually do it a couple times a year Spring and Fall. Live in MA, so can’t do during the winter months. Now that it is finally starting to get some warmer days I’ll be looking to apply this soon. I actually stocked up on this last Fall as the local WalMart had it on their clearance rack for end of season for around $5 bottle if I remember correctly.

I used the Cerakote Platinum on my grey 22 FX4 it took about the same 30 min did 3 coats in a few weeks truck looked clean all the time, so when I got my 25 Lariat I did the same this time black truck, really Popped on black, its been almost a year now still beading up nicely, next nice day going to give it another coat.
Somebody mentioned pollen how is any coating going to stop pollen, I can say this it washes off with just water with the Cerakote. The tire shine also works great not shiny like a flat black last for weeks with a light coat.
