TSB & FIX: Hood Flutter Shake at Highway Speeds

I added these 2 weeks ago and got rid of the hood flutter all together

Mind showing us where you installed them? I think im going to buy some of these to fix my hood flutter. You are the only one that has reported having successfully solved the problem. But I also noticed your Mav (at least in your profile pic) doesnt have the hood deflector. Is that correct?

I just installed the Aeroskin 2 today, and it caused the hood flutter. Bought 4ft. of 1/2" heater hose for $8 at AutoZone. Split it lengthwise and put it over the rear hood seal.
Almost removed all the flutter at highway speed. Still a little but it's in the middle of the hood, more like flexing. Could have been there before and I didn't notice.

I just installed the Aeroskin 2 today, and it caused the hood flutter. Bought 4ft. of 1/2" heater hose for $8 at AutoZone. Split it lengthwise and put it over the rear hood seal.
Almost removed all the flutter at highway speed. Still a little but it's in the middle of the hood, more like flexing. Could have been there before and I didn't notice.

Did this today. Can confirm hood shake is GONE…even with the big deflector

I did not notice this at all. Of course, my truck was built after this issue was noted and a correction made for it. I had it at 70-80 mph (it's easy to do with how smooth the truck rides) and I did not see any hood shake or rattle.

Do we know officially that Ford fixed this issue halfway thru MY22 production ?

I noticed the hood flex/shake/spasm with my Silver Maverick, after I added the hood deflector Speeds >60 mph and the hood was dancing. Adjusted and readjusted those hood mounts, but the hood flexing remained.

In my VB Maverick, there is no flexing. I did not add a hood deflector because I suspected that was causing the hood flexing.

No hood flutter in our VB XL EB - hope it's the same in our Lariat Hybrid. We won't be adding deflectors.

If you like the deflector, as I do, fix the flutter! Had truck up to 85mph - no flutter. Fix has been mentioned in this thread.

Did you just lay is as pictured or did you fasten it some how (like with an adhesive)? Thanks.
