Has anyone experienced a lurching at highway speed? This occurred when travelling around 70 mph. I tired switching drive modes and turning off the AC and nothing had an effect on the lurching. I did not see any changes on the power meter either. The day before I drove the Mav from St Louis to South of Dallas and it worked perfectly. Any thoughts or other's experience on this issue would be apricated.
Thanks

Maybe with your last fill-up you got some bad gas?

on the chance you got some fuel with water contam, a dose of Sta-Bil could help.

One time only, yes.

Was right after I "floored it" on the freeway to pass, then immediately had to brake hard for a sudden road hazard.

Going from full power to full brake in an instant confused something and the truck stuttered/sputtered for a while after. Unnerving. But has not come back. But I have tried not to repeat that scenario.

I had that one time on my previous Maverick. After a tank of bad gas it was lurching and bucking like you couldn't believe. And I made the mistake of putting 87 in instead of 89. Although many on here mentioned putting 87 in is just fine and have had no issues, I sure did with mine. I always put 89 in for better power and efficiency. Maybe that's what happened? Possible water contamination?

Haven't had a lurching problem in 21K miles. I'm picky about gas though. I avoid off brand. When on the road I prefer T/A, Buccee's, or the other big one, Shell or BP. Pilot, eh. I use 87 mostly. If there is a deal on premium I'll put a tank in once in a while for the supposed cleaning.

If it was bad gas it would buck and jerk at all speeds.

Hi there! Will you send us a message with your VIN and your local Ford dealer? I can look into things on my end.

I have had trouble since the truck was new in 2022. The truck will lurch forward from a standing start and when I pass someone and then let off the accelerator the truck will not slow down for a short period of time.

Did you ever find out what was causing it?

My Maverick awd has intermittent lurching at low and higher speeds . This problem has be going on for some time. The dealership cannot find anything wrong. It seems to happen more in cold weather.
