Used this GOOLOO GT4000S just yesterday to jump my dead Mav. Has other features beyond jumping as well.

Also, there is a key blade inside the fob for manual unlocking. Push the button next to the keyring slot and slide it out. That gets you in the door to get your jump box hooked up...

Thanks for the feedback so far. To clarify this is a Lariat lux so the key has no blade. While I did learn something new about the backup location, I do not believe this to be a key issue as that would not explain why entering the code on the driver's side keypad to unlock the door was also...

Installed the same brand and had the same issue. I immediately cleaned it off with RainX exterior car cleaner. Took a little extra muscle to get it off. Did not seem to get permanent paint damage though.
