Remember that Ford stated in the email with the Hybrid EPA MPG ratings that the next thing that was needed was the EPA Federal and States emissions ratings.

So maybe we should be looking at the window stickers for which states have completed their ratings and which states are holding up the OKTB.

From the other thread and this one these are the States that have completed emissions testing:

Alabama
California
Florida
Minnesota
Ohio
Washington
Wisconsin? - didn't state his order was a Hybrid but posted in this forum
I'm not sure I understand this.

I know that California has its own emissions standards that are stricter than the EPA's. Those are the CARB standards we hear about, which other states are free to follow (and about 15 or so do).

But it's also my understanding that "California is the only state that's able to issue a different set of standards than the EPA." What Are CARB Emission States? - CarsDirect

So I don't understand what you mean by looking to see which states "have completed their ratings" or "have completed emissions testing." Wouldn't it be the case that if both the EPA and California have successfully completed emissions testing then that's it... it's over?

Do other individual states have to somehow validate the EPA or CARB results? That seems weird.

[EDIT] I notice all the blue window stickers say "50 STATE EMISSIONS" is included on vehicle.

There have been some dealers telling their customers that hybrid vehicles are delayed and won't be available for 6-8 months. Some saying there are thermal issues.

I want everyone to know they are NOT correct.

Hybrid scheduling and production continues each week.

OKTB (okay to buy) is pending EPA testing.

Information straight from the Maverick team.
I just looked at another post which shows a price gouged XLT selling for $38k from a dealer. It just occurred to me when I read your post that the reason why so many dealers are claiming the sky is falling is because they want to sell what they can at marked up prices. If people think that there is a delay, they'd be more likely to pay the inflated price.

If that's the case, in your edit, then OKTB from Ford should happen any day now I would think. I can't see Ford sitting on Hybrid's if they are built and ready to ship!

I agree that Ford hasn't yet stated OKTB and until they do their January date is still gospel.

But if all the emissions testing does get complete in lets say a week would Ford not at that time do a press release for the OKTB.

I seems that the current Hybrid Windows Stickers with emission test data being reported as valid that Ford is close and remember the Hybrid Window Sticker with the EPA MPG numbers was leaked first then a few days later Ford did a press release reporting those same EPA MPG numbers.

I am hoping that this is going to happen again: Leak then Ford Press Release.
Hope you are right

So just speculation then that today was the OKTB date.

It may be true that today was the day but I will wait for the official OKTB from Ford before I celebrate.

It does bode well that the "not for sale" was removed and just like the EPA 42 City MPG window sticker that was leaked it took a few days after to get an official release from Ford.
I believe his exact words were:
"The the OKTB seemingly been given today....."
I don't read that as the Gospel according to @STARCOMMTREY1

You make an interesting point.

If it really is a problem with the "Fed botching everything these days," then we would expect to see the OKTB significantly delayed on lots of other vehicles, not just the hybrid Maverick.

So... Has anyone heard of the OKTB being seriously delayed on other types of vehicles?
Thank God I don't watch other vehicles. I'd go crazy for sure.

Yes the ones that are BLUE have the EPA emissions listed. Those blue stickers have been posted here and you can see what state the buyer who ordered it lives in thus infer which state has the EPA emissions testing completed.
Curious, I live in Florida but ordered from Pennsylvania. How will Ford know where I live based on that?

Bama was an easy one. Half our vehicles are tractors and the other half are straightpiped with no muffler. Someone said the Mav has like three mufflers, shoot fire, that means I'm at least two to the good.
Leave my other vehicles out of this!!!!! ;)

I mean ... With Hermasillo shutting down for two days, aren't all Mavericks being delayed a bit?

How late can a car/truck be before Ford actually labels it delayed?
Personal experience with the Bronco- 122 days since Blend date. Still not shipped. Not labeled as delayed.

Hard top. “Built” in June and then parked on Dirt Mountain ever since. Nowhere on any of my trackers does it label it as delayed. The last information that I was was it had a status of “awaiting update” but no one had ever saw that before.

Glad your here....since it was discover that EVERY SINGLE HARDTOP was bad, EVERY SINGLE HARDTOP must be replaced. Ford decided to replace people who had theirs already first and the ones on the line or waiting will be delayed until enough can be built which was said to be a good minute.

Glad to be here. The Mav will be used to take the pressure of daily commute off the Bronco… if it ever ships.

If you order now, most likely you will have a May delivery. I don't think there will be any June deliveries because of switch over for 2023. Maybe a July or August delivery, depending on demand.
I ordered in August, will delivery be before Spring?
