The hybrid window stickers that are turning blue -- are they from states that have EPA emissions complete? Sorry if that's obvious I was just assuming it was randomness of Ford's... <waves hands> whatever.

Yes the ones that are BLUE have the EPA emissions listed. Those blue stickers have been posted here and you can see what state the buyer who ordered it lives in thus infer which state has the EPA emissions testing completed.

Remember that Ford stated in the email with the Hybrid EPA MPG ratings that the next thing that was needed was the EPA Federal and States emissions ratings.

So maybe we should be looking at the window stickers for which states have completed their ratings and which states are holding up the OKTB.

Florida
Minnesota
Ohio
Washington
Wisconsin? - didn't state his order was a Hybrid but posted in this forum

Seems, if I'm not mistaken that California has the strictest emissions testing, so with that being done it should be quick for the others? 15, actually 16 states follow California's emissions (I believe Nevada just added themselves to that list.

You make an interesting point.

If it really is a problem with the "Fed botching everything these days," then we would expect to see the OKTB significantly delayed on lots of other vehicles, not just the hybrid Maverick.

So... Has anyone heard of the OKTB being seriously delayed on other types of vehicles?

Bama was an easy one. Half our vehicles are tractors and the other half are straightpiped with no muffler. Someone said the Mav has like three mufflers, shoot fire, that means I'm at least two to the good.

some states accept federal guidelines, which does not make any sense… why wouldn’t you want another layer of state compliance ??

Every state does it's own ratings? 17 states don't even do emission testing.

I don't think that is the explanation for the window sticker. From the EPA: "Ultimately, the fuel economy labels that are affixed to these vehicles on dealership lots will always reflect the federal standard."

All the reported Window Stickers are BLUE. The one with 7 is BLUE along with the others at 6 that are also BLUE.

Just going off what Ford has said in all the press releases. They have not given the OK to buy yet.

Agree, still been waiting since late June on hybrid. Again not Fall as advertised for me so hopefully scheduled for January build

I think the odds are good that the hybrids will get the OKTB soon and ship well before December. Just a guess, but they have been under promising and over delivering once they work around their production issues.
