Looks like we have another recall unsure on date ranges mine is a mid December build for reference.

Summary REPROGRAM INTEGRATED TRAILER RELAY MODULE

Safety Risk LOSS OF TRAILER BRAKE FUNCTIONALITY COULD RESULT IN EXTENDED STOPPING DISTANCE, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.

Remedy OWNERS WILL BE NOTIFIED BY MAIL AND INSTRUCTED TO TAKE THEIR VEHICLE TO A FORD OR LINCOLN DEALER TO HAVE THE INTEGRATED TRAILER BRAKE CONTROL MODULE SOFTWARE UPDATED. THERE WILL BE NO CHARGE FOR THIS SERVICE. FORD IS EXCLUDING REIMBURSEMENT FOR COSTS BECAUSE THE ORIGINAL WARRANTY PROGRAM WOULD PROVIDE FOR A FREE REPAIR FOR THIS CONCERN. FORD WILL FORWARD A COPY OF THE NOTIFICATION LETTERS TO DEALERS TO THE AGENCY WHEN AVAILABLE.

My maverick just showed up to dealer yesterday and has to have the recall completed before I am able to purchase. Hoping it can be done today.

I remember a post on here where someone couldnt get the trailer brakes to work, guess this is why.

Mine was built on 02/08/22 and is included in the recall

Based on the dates people are listing so far from 10/4 to 3/13 sounds like it was probably everyone built with 4k package just prior to the recall date. I'm gonna hold off for awhile since I'm not towing anyway maybe they will find a solution for the rattle noise near windshields so I can have that fixed at the same time.

Yup, was to take delivery today but wont deliver due to recall. Kicker is they dont have the software fix! Big trucks fall under this also according to a article I read.

No need to "lookup" your VIN. If you have the FordPass app installed you'll get the recall notice right on your phone.

If you login to Ford.com it will definitely show the notification because the Fordpass app is flakey often. Mine is missing this recall in app but shows on Ford.com

Hmm, interesting... I have this recall (thru the FordPass app). My build date was 10/2021.

What is interesting is that the FordPass app does NOT show my fuel tank recall. I got a letter in the mail for that, and it does not show up on the NHTSA recall website.
