Received Ford notice of recall of trailer lights signal hiccup. And, again, no software fix available yet. That in 2nd qtr this year. Sit tight till fix available, will be notified.

Don't plan to tow any trailer. May never. So I sit, wait.

The letter was waiting for me when I got home from picking up my trailer Wednesday! The left Stop/Turn signal light on the trailer was inop so that was my first thought. of course! But, alas, it was just a burned out bulb. All worked as it should over the weekend as I moved the seasonal equipment around! Have that and the block heater notices on the "Cars To Do" clipboard/headset hanger in my den.

I went 50+ years without a trailer module and did just peachy towing utility trailers and campers. Now Ford comes along and screws things up. Thanks, Ford. SOOTFW

My dealer was hot to fix it. I took it to dealer and it was done in 15 minutes. No mail notice given.

I got mine in the mail yesterday. It’s been a while since I’ve towed anything so not that concerning to me. Still haven’t done the airbag recall.

They’ll take care of it on my next service. Not a concern r a problem at all.

Since I haven't towed and likely never will, don't own a trailer, I'm not losing sleep over it. I figure the next oil change they can do the recall. Only reason I have 4k towing is because it was on the Maverick when I saw it. Went to look at a HPR xlt , fwd,but it was sold, saw the Atlas Blue, Lariat AWD and liked it better. I never had a blue truck in the past so switched it up.

I like the Atlas blue a lot. For me AWD is a must have,

Received the recall yesterday.

Well, the somewhat good news is that according to Ford, the problem doesn't affect the truck's brake or turn signals, so if you're not towing a trailer, you should be ok. Not much of a consolation if you are in the habit of towing. Let's hope Ford gets this fixed sooner than later.
