No, unsold vehicles are given priority for the recall parts, so they can be sold and dealers can make money. Vehicles already on the road are given lowest priority because there's no money to be made.

I doubt that there will be a price protection. To get a MY23 you need to submit a completely new order, right? Ford would need some way to link your cancelled MY22 order with a MY23 order.
It took me 6 days to receive a response, even though I responded to their email within 20 minutes after they sent it. They finally responded after I called them. Picked up the Maverick two days after that.
Yeah they said the 3700lb limit is for cars and SUVs only (class A) . Pickups are another class of vehicle (class E) where the limit is 7000lb, so any pickup under 7000lb is registered as a 7000lb pickup, just like any car/SUV under 3700lb is registered as a -3700lb vehicle.

Has anyone else had their truck recently get delivered at Chapman but haven't been receiving any communications from the dealership? Truck showed up last Monday, have sent multiple emails with no response.
Yes they can still mark it up. Signed agreements are broken all the time, it's called breaking a contract. Of course there are penalties to breaking a contract, but that usually means the deal is undone, so the dealer keeps the Maverick and you keep your money. Hopefully it doesn't happen to you.
