Looks like Ford did a better job than most integrating controls into the touch screen, but I still consider it regressive, same with turning the gauges into a screen, too. The gauges on the 22-24 hybrid are honestly a beautifully simple marriage of traditional gauges with a power gauge that actually tells you what's going on with the hybrid system, and a small LCD with useful info. The HVAC controls would be perfect too if they had just changed the middle to a third dial for manual vent control or auto.
Just wish they had kept it the same (except the third HVAC dial), and maybe just made the infotainment screen bigger by deleting the cubby and scrunching the audio controls some. Screens are cheaper than buttons, dials and gauges now though, so that's what we get.
