I am trading/selling my 22 FX4 for a 25 Tremor. The upgraded off road capability and tech were a big draw for me. I say go for it!
I have the exact same scenario—trading 22 XLT FX4 for 25 Tremor for the same reasons. My trade-in is close to what I paid. I hope they arrive soon!

I traded my '23 XLT FX4 for a '24 Lariat Tremor. The Tremor rides and handles better, has a more advanced AWD system, it probably has the best looking interior, it livens ups the BAP interior with the Tremor orange stitching and embroidered name on the seats. Some of what I feel like the more quiet ride is probably more Lariat. If towing is your thing then the Tremor is probably not for you.

Oh, another thing, the Tremor is certainly more unique, we have a fair number of Mav's around here but I hardly ever see another Tremor.

Also wanted to note, that I tow a ton with my Tremor( that's what it's rated for😉). But seriously unless you are talking about a specific rv that you tow across country every year. The difference in towing is paltry, for f350s their tow rating changes more than that after a bowel movement and a big lunch. But I regularly tow my dump trailer probably loaded up a lil heavy but it doesn't care. I have never actually even seen my temp gauge move yet owning it for a year.

Looking at replacing my '24 Lariat 4K BAP w/16K miles with a '24 Lariat Tremor. Getting a pretty solid trade-in value, like the stance, tires, tow hooks, and similar interior to my current BAP. Same color (Atlas Blue).

I realize I may take a slight mpg hit w/the Tremor, anyone regret getting one? Don't off-road, but I assume it would have better winter (snow) capability.

Thanks, HRG
I bought a Tremor for two reasons. I have back problems, and the Tremor has a softer suspension with more travel for off-roading. Also, I live in FL, and in case I have to leave quickly due to an impending hurricane (like now), I can go around some traffic jams if necessary.

Loved my Tremor and miss it all the time. The MPG hit is real but I wouldn't sweat it much coming from an EB. The upgraded RDU and PTU are excellent and I wish we could get those bits on the hybrid.

Thanks all for the comments, I've put a deposit down on the Tremor,,,,,

"anyone regret getting one?" seems a universal no from those who actually that have/had one.

good job separating the wheat from the chaff 😎

Everyone's needs are different, and opinions. So take my viewpoint or post with a grain of salt. No way would I give up, mileage, 4k towing capabilities, or high capacity radiator and the upgraded fan.

Another post mentioned different tires with a more aggressive tread if you worried about traction. I second that option. Also adding p235 from 225 gains 1/4 inch or .255 ground clearance. So a difference of 8.855 vs 9.3 which in most cases off road may not be noticeable and definitely not if you are not going off road.

Lastly nobody has a crystal ball. Yet looking at other threads of many having to trade or sell to upgrade to get the 4k is enough to realize it's peace of mind. Along with being prepared similar to a boy scout. Also having the high capacity radiator and the upgraded fan should translate to a longer running engine and less repairs besides being able to accomplish tasks without overheating.

Also are you prepared to take a hit and more stops at the gas pump?
I usually get a good kick (laugh) from someone when I read the forum and tonight it was u hunter. I would much rather have the larger half shafts and a better ride then bigger rad. I dont tow much anymore or I would have gotten a Ranger. My Tremor also gets close to 30 mpg in city with couple mods.

Glad you got a good laugh. Also happy you like your Tremor. Only when you see a Maverick going down the road towing 4000lb, most likely he is laughing at you sir. Only thing is you won't know about it, you wouldn't have a clue.

I respect that you like the larger half shafts and a softer ride. Yet you don't respects someone wanting a better handling and not experiencing body roll, larger radiator, upgraded cooling fan and the ability to tow 4000lbs. and better fuel economy. Just saying you might be getting that mileage but I have a hard time believing a post that Ford won't even put on paper. Just to be exact highway mileage is 5 mpg difference.

If you don't off road then I wouldn't. Looks like you have the 4k tow package on your current Mav. You would lose that and the transmission cooler. In my opinion the Tremor would be a downgrade from what you have. Put some A/T tires on yours and call it a day.. Or if you want something new go with a 25.
The Tremor comes with a heavy duty transmission cooler. And PTU cooler.

People seem to think towing abilities are the most important thing. I had a full size Ram and once I sold my snowmobiles and trailer, I never needed that much truck again. My Tremor is the perfect truck and could handle any small trailer I might tow. The ride is great, it looks cool and the advanced AWD is exceptional and inspires confidence on those cold, snow covered roads we so often travel in my neck of the woods. I think you made a great decision. Hope you love it as much as I love mine. I just wish the Azure Grey or Eruption Green had been available back then. 😬 Delivery day...
