People seem to think towing abilities are the most important thing. I had a full size Ram and once I sold my snowmobiles and trailer, I never needed that much truck again. My Tremor is the perfect truck and could handle any small trailer I might tow. The ride is great, it looks cool and the advanced AWD is exceptional and inspires confidence on those cold, snow covered roads we so often travel in my neck of the woods. I think you made a great decision. Hope you love it as much as I love mine. I just wish the Azure Grey or Eruption Green had been available back then. 😬 Delivery day...

Absolutely love my 23 XLT Tremor. The stance looks great and the ride is nice. Don't have anything to tow, so the towing capacity isn't an issue for me. I am pleasantly surprised by how quiet the ride is and it has plenty of "get up & go"!

In the 13 yrs I owned my last F150 I towed 3 things, 17' deep V center console fishing boat, my two up atv trailer and a rental wood chipper and trencher a few times. All at or less than 2k. Basically the same loads hauled by my previous truck, 2000 Ranger FX4. OMG, with no electric brakes. Tremor, no problem.

After 18 months, I Love my 2023 Lariat Tremor...

I don't tow and I'm not obsessive about my MPG. Power, tractability and all wheel drive were my main goals. I like the fact I can lock the dual clutch differential and the variety of drive modes one can chose. I added the economy and sport modes via Forscan as well...

I'm very pleased, especially now as the price would be at least $5K more the way I optioned it.

Glad you got a good laugh. Also happy you like your Tremor. Only when you see a Maverick going down the road towing 4000lb, most likely he is laughing at you sir. Only thing is you won't know about it, you wouldn't have a clue.

I respect that you like the larger half shafts and a softer ride. Yet you don't respects someone wanting a better handling and not experiencing body roll, larger radiator, upgraded cooling fan and the ability to tow 4000lbs. and better fuel economy. Just saying you might be getting that mileage but I have a hard time believing a post that Ford won't even put on paper. Just to be exact highway mileage is 5 mpg difference.
I just want to clear this up, the Tremor has added cooling over the standard Maverick, but the 4k option gives you the best cooling.

Towing is correct for the play it safe crowd, who weighs their dump runs though. Not me. I tow a lot and have flat towed other vehicles, Tremor doesn't care.

The Maverick Tremor is not equiped to tow over 2000lbs. It also sacrifices everything else that I have posted. That being said if the majority of ones time is off road ing and no need to tow over 2000lbs it is a feasible option. Me I need the 4k and I don't see an advantage when a UTV can tow similar to the tremor, My hope is Ford offers 4k on the tremor as supposedly it's essence is a truck. I originally thought the loss of the high capacity radiator and upgraded fan may have been the reason for the 2000lb limit. After Ford offering 4k tow with the hybrid which I believe also doesn't have high capacity radiator or the upgraded fan leads me to believe something with the rear differential is or maybe the reason why they limit towing at 2000lbs or possibly the suspension.

Lastly if you can not tow over 2000lbs how can you use the tremor as a recovery vehicle and not anticipate problems down the road.

Hey I get it people abuse vehicles all the time. Even witnessed where someone never changed oil or oil filter and expected Ford to pay for an engine. Me I'm going to try to stay in the parameters Ford has suggested.

Looking at replacing my '24 Lariat 4K BAP w/16K miles with a '24 Lariat Tremor. Getting a pretty solid trade-in value, like the stance, tires, tow hooks, and similar interior to my current BAP. Same color (Atlas Blue).

I realize I may take a slight mpg hit w/the Tremor, anyone regret getting one? Don't off-road, but I assume it would have better winter (snow) capability.

Thanks, HRG
Do it...love mine. Admittedly the fuel mileage takes a hit on the Tremor, but I am on pace for 4,500 miles/year and difference between my mileage (19 mostly city driving) and a non-Tremor (guessing high that I could get 28 mpg mostly city, which I'd say is several mpg high) i need another 75 gallons of fuel annually...less than $250/year of 87 octane difference. Realistically is it probably about $200 more a year to run the Tremor. I think I like it that much more than if I didn't have it.

Great color choice BTW...can't believe they are discontinuing it.

I usually get a good kick (laugh) from someone when I read the forum and tonight it was u hunter. I would much rather have the larger half shafts and a better ride then bigger rad. I dont tow much anymore or I would have gotten a Ranger. My Tremor also gets close to 30 mpg in city with couple mods.
what mods did you do to improve your MPG that much?

Not sure if this is true. The main impact of towing on any truck is the tongue weight. Since the payload of the Tremor is rated way above any reasonable tongue weight, I don't see how it could be suspension related.

Because of the increased ramp angle of the Tremor, its radiator is smaller than a regular Maverick (there's a thread somewhere that gives you the capacity of each radiator (regular Mav, Tremor Mav and 4K Mav). I suspect this is the reason for the 2K limit.

Thanks all for the comments, I've put a deposit down on the Tremor,,,,,

Congrats! If it's a 2024 is it on the lot? If not, I didn't know ordering a 2024 was still an option.

It's a '24 that's in-bound to the dealer, off the train and on its final leg. Blue WS, so not a customer order.

Yes but the 25 hybrid offers AWD with 4k and I don't believe the high capacity radiator comes with it. It requires the 2.0 to get the high capacity radiator included with 4 k tow package. Thus it maybe the rear differential.

The reason I mentioned the possibility of the suspension is two fold. Like has been previously posted it's a softer suspension. This does two things it increases body roll but when pulling a trailer with a short wheelbase any over correction is significant especially with a softer suspension to maintain control. Second like you mentioned the payload capacity is reduced as well which may not accommodate the required tongue weight. For these reasons I mentioned it maybe suspension. Then again it most likely is the different rear differential.

Whatever the reason Ford engineers should be working around the clock to correct this issue. Also there is also a need to raise it from 4k to 5k to be even more competitive it this particular market.

I was seriously looking at the Tremor pkg. Unfortunately the loss of payload, loss of fuel economy, and the loss of towing capabilities made my decision. Instead the FX4, 4k and p235 tires is what I ordered.

I sold my toy hauler, car hauler but still own 4 trailers that the very minimum needed is 4000lbs. Whether it's lime, fertilizer, seed, towing a small tractor, equipment etc.. Not to mention needing it for recovery in certain situations.

So far I have not been disappointed, it's been a very nice but capable truck around the property.
