I read that in August when the order banks open up Ford is going to sell a "Fast Pass" and for $1000.00 you get a wrist band and moved to the front of the line - hahahahahahaha

Just move the ball socket position on the lower attaching plate.

You obviously have no small children or elderly folks around! FYI it is NOT to help lift it! It is to slow it down so if you hand slips off (wet or whatver) it won’t crash onto someone or something. Again, NOTHING TO DO WITH CLOSING SAFELY OR MORE EASILY!!!

I had to email Dee Zee about a problem I was having with my tailgate assist. It was no longer lowering my tailgate in that slow smooth fashion....basically it looked like it was worn out. I sent them a picture of the strut installed and proof of purchase as they requested. Hopefully, they will send me a new strut since it has a 3 year warranty and I purchased it back in March 2023.
