Too long. 13 pages. Didn't read past page 1.

However, this did happen to me first drive after I had the 12 v battery out of the truck overnight.

Damn computers have to "relearn" stuff. I assumed. Been fine since.
You drove over a curb and crashed into a building. 😧

Didn’t read past page one, yet you’re still here adding to it. 🤔

We are at that point that long-ass threads get to where people nope past 10+ pages and make a comment or ask a question that was handled eight pages previous.

This thread needs a mercy closing.

I vote for it to stay open.
Here's a simple solution.
If you don't want to read it. Don't open the thread.
Go back to tonneau covers, console slots, correct batteries, good and bad car washes, proper tires and other repeatedly over posted subjects.

Yes Oil and filters🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I don't think it's any one person's call to determine whether a thread should be end or not.

Agreed. And I do hope the OP is willing to come back and give us an update, even if it's just to say he can't comment about the issue at this time due to potential litigation.

With some of the other comments that have been posted I can understand his not being up to admitting driver error.

He** some posts might be perceived as roasting him based solely on the possibility of it being driver error.

I've had the displeasure of having to confront the issue of age related cognitive and physical decline in family members and anyone who is willing to make light of the issue better remember that you're going to get there too eventually.

It is, but it's not me. I'm smart enough to not run one of these discussion forums. Been there, done that.

I was just making an observation in a thread that I'm going to now click ignore on.

My wife dealt it a year and a half ago with her, at the time 91 year old dad.
He wasn't happy about it but he admitted he might be slowing down a smidge.🫣
Funny story.
About 8 years ago, my late brother-in-law, had to remind his 101-year-old mother, that her son Cliff had passed away. She replied, 'Well, I guess he won't be getting a Christmas card this year.'

Tough crowd here, you should cut the OP a brake.
Tough? No, not really. Just a pile on the poor bugger mentality. It really put a crimp in the "Community" feel of this place.
