Looking for a set of OEM Ford steelies to put winter tires on for this winter.
I'm located in Milton, On. and can pickup.

Let me know what/where you have and how much you're asking. DM is fine if you prefer and a photo would be great.

Not steelies, but I suggest you take a look on facebook marketplace.

There are listing for other 5x108 wheels and winter tires that pop up.
I've seen a few for bronco sport wheels and winter tires, as well as some aftermarket wheels.

I personally prefer aluminum wheels since they don't rust.

I have a set of four (including caps and lugs) that I took off of an XT I traded for my XLT. $100.00 plus you pay shipping. I'm in NW Florida. They are in boxes and hard to get to, so pictures only if really interested.

Thanks Garry. I am going to find a set more local to me. Shipping, customs and currency are things I'd rather not deal with.

Probably not many seasonal sets of tires in Florida. 4 full size spares?

I picked up a steelie on Ebay for a full size spare. They're out there. Good luck.

I have X-Ice on my 2012 Focus and they are the best winter tires I have used. I am looking at X-Ice Snow or Blizzak DM V2. Anyone using these currently on you Maverick?

I ended up picking up a set of steel wheels and hub caps locally.

I didn't expect the lug nuts to be so expensive - seller was keeping his and now I see why. Went aftermarket trying the Dorman 611-982 will report back if I lose any hub caps but expect it should be fine.

Wrapped the new to me wheels in 17" Michelin Xice SUV winter tires - have a $100 mail in rebate. Don't wait too long, tire shops are filling up appointments. Looking forward to winter now.

i have oe steelies on my xl which i pickup today. i can't stand the look of the silver steelies... so trying to decide gettem painted or buy a new set of black ones..
a new set of black ones will run likely around 100$+tx each(aftermarket), not sure what a shop would charge me to paint the steelies... or if i should just wait until the warmer weather and spray bomb them myself.

Aluminum may not rust, but it corrodes far faster than steel when exposed to the large amounts of salt used in southern Ontario. Steel rims can be easily fixed with paint and a wire brush, but aluminum rims are a writeoff when they corrode.

I have a different experience.
I don’t wash my car often and never had an issue with any of my oem wheels.
Steel wheels on the other hand always rust.
I live in Toronto where they use a lot of salt.

Discount tire has a pretty cheap new set.

Personally that's why I got a summer set, to swap out to the OEM ones in the winter.

I think the only debate I have right now is go with 225's or 235's? The DMV2's are in 235/65R17 and the WS90's are in 225/65R17.

I've been contemplating buying these and using them year round. https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Toyo&tireModel=Open+Country+A/T+III&partnum=26TR8OCAT3&vehicleSearch=true&fromCompare1=yes&autoMake=Ford&autoYear=2024&autoModel=Maverick AWD&autoModClar=225/60-18

A little on the spendy side, but if they're good in the snow, wear alright and don't need to be switched out for summer, it'll be worth it.

Do any of the tire retailers give you anything if you trade in the new take-offs, or are you better selling them outright? Mine will come with the 18" Michelins.
