One in a great while, I get out that way from Pensacola. Last time I was there was when I picked up my '23 atlas blue FX4 XLT Maverick. That was in August of '23. If I can swing a day off, I try to go to gun shows there, but it's been years since I've been able to do that.
I have a set of 7.5' folding aluminum loading ramps with a 1500lb rating. They fit perfectly in the bed of my Maverick along with my son's mobility scooter. I no longer need them and I would be willing to sell them to you for $100.00 plus shipping cost. PM me if interested and I will send...
Unfortunately, I have to work (hotel security). At least I will get holiday overtime pay.
I will probably do a full range day on one of my regular days off and bring at least three guns.
I tend to drive a little aggressively, so I mostly get around 22-23 mpg in my XLT FX4 with Falken Wildpeaks. My daily drive is a mix of about 40 percent hwy and 60 percent city. I'm happy with that mpg as my vehicle before owing Mavericks was a Ford Ecosport 1.0L and it only got 24-25 on the...
IIRC, Ford's BlueCruise is a step above the CP360 on the Maverick and is more advanced. It is not available on any Maverick--yet. Maybe someone who knows more can answer.
While I can't speak to the Tremor's capabilities (I'm sure they are great), I can tell you that the FX4 is a very capable soft off road vehicle. Case in point, I was at my gun range the other day and I had my target set at 50 yards. My range is pretty much all red Florida sand and there was...
My Maverick does the same thing. I just keep trying and eventually it starts. The only problem is I have to be able to see the lights come on or hear my truck start because the app doesn't tell me it started.
I had a red '68 Firebird convertible when I was a teenager (late 60s, early 70s). I wanted Cragers, but all I could afford was Chrome Reverse. Still looked bad as hell. Like an idiot, I sold that car when I joined the Navy in '74.
As others have mentioned, offset is the biggest hurdle. I...
I had an XL before I got my XLT and yes, Fordpass does work with an XL. Also, the suggestion in an earlier post about the external keypad is an good idea. My '23 XLT has one and it has saved me a couple times.
You most certainly can add mud/ruts and sand/snow to non FX4/Tremor AWD Mavericks. I had an iconic silver XL AWD and added both with Forscan and did not lose any of the other modes. I rarely used them, but better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. I have an FX4 Maverick...
In my previous Maverick ('22 XL AWD 4K), I was driving home from work and I always used eco mode to save mpg's. There was an older Dodge Dakota that had been egging me to race him. He would jackrabbit at every light, then wait for me to catch up at the next light. I finally had had enough so at...
