once you lower it you will get some neg camber which will lessen the appearance of poke abit. I would encourage you to keep the extra camber as well, so long as you keep toe minimal tire wear will be fine. not sure yet what adjustments are needed in the rear, i am thinking at most toe...
oops this is an XL ecob
My trip last week, an extra 100lbs in the box for the trip home. Most of the mileage on interstates likely averaging 75mph. Kawartha Lakes Ontario Canada to Daytona beach and back.
Just realized the clock runs on this trip even when the truck isn't moving.
i am running 235's i didn't even consider the extra weight when i ordered them. the ride might be a tad harsher, but the pressures are higher on them too. The OE tires were a couple lb's soft and these are 35-36 cold, they likely would be comparable I think with a drop in pressure. I also...
I have been looking unsuccessfully, but hoping to find someone who fit the CR in gloss black on a lowered mav...
a bit on the pricey side for me...
at least I can get a rough idea of what the wheel would look like from yours..
i'm considering 18x8.5 et 37 CR's in gloss black with 255/55r18...
not a fan of drilled, but yes if you spend good money on quality they should be fine. i have tracked my mx-5 and BRZ and on both i relied on centric blanks and gloc pads.
I would like to entertain the idea of taking the maverick to the track.. mine is a ecob with tow pkg, expecting that the brake pads won't like it much and curious if anyone has tracked their maverick if you did anything beyond replacing brake fluid with something better able to handle the...
i got the ford roll up on mine, it's pretty solid certainly not weak, the cross pieces are aluminum and it would support some weight i am sure, but i don't think any of the tonneau's are designed to carry anything on top.
I didn't like how the fold up blocks the window either, but to be fair...
Yup that's my plan for next year, too cold to paint the steelies at this time of year(i've only had my truck 3 weeks). I did get a price to powder coat.. and well yeah I can buy 2 sets of black one's for that price.
Truck dimensions can be seen on ford's website, and that is what they would refer to, and if i want to compete in it, i will have to prove it meets the rules.. because as stock it would not pass tech. I've been running with the same orgs for 10 years, and these are the rules we follow. This is...
you need 245/55 or 255/55. I am thinking of going to an 18x8.5 with 255/55's with pilot sport suv tires for autoX next year.. if i can get it low enough.
my oems have 1000kms on them as of today and i am installing 235/65 wildpeak at trail's next weekend. i can run those tires all year and get the ins $ break for snow tires.
i took my new truck 23 ecob XL awd tow pkg, for a run today, it only had 500kms on it when i left the house this morning. I did 420 kms, and just going by the dash it is reporting 7.5L/100 pretty happy with that. It was a pretty easy run though, mostly on cruise at 95/kmh and light traffic...
i want to autoX my truck and to do so i will need to get the height of the truck to be less than the avg track width. If you have lowered your truck, how tall is it at the tallest point. I gnore the antenna and antenna base.
I have the goodwin springs but haven't installed them yet they will...
i have my truck and i have the kit to go in... but as it may as well be winter already up here, i had it krowned a week ago, and whatever I do will have to wait until spring now. Once i have the summer car out the truck can be apart in the garage.
But.. i am having second thoughts, I am not...
hmm got my truck saturday and ordered it with a full sized spare, expected it to be same size as the rest of the wheels on the truck. Now i am going to have to take a look..
