Thanks. I understood for some reason the hybrid was capable of being flat towed but not the ecoboost. Still, don't know why.
Totally different transmissions in hybrid ‘Ecvt’ vs eco boost conventional automatic tranny. Most automatic transmissions today require the lubrication coming from the...
I like both of the above ideas, but the garage/carport is not feasible for me, or moving to the southern U.S.
I've used a full windshield cover, but putting putting on/off was more of a pain than digging the snow out of the wiper well.
I LIKE the pool noodle suggestion. Just brush the...
Yes , A rental truck or trailer. Probably less $$ than the added car payment and even gas for month. You didn’t say how far the move is. 10, 100, 1000 miles. PERSONALY I wouldn’t hesitate to pull 2500 lb 20 miles or so on relatively level terrain.

Not for me. Not just because of where they made but because it is an EV. We don't have the infastructure for EVs. Our community only has 2 public charging points and my house would need a total electrical upgrade to accomodate an EV.
Ironically I just got my 23 Maverick Hybrid back from...
First of all, other than having a couple of there products, I have nothing to do with Mabett. As we all know this id the Christmas/New Years holiday season. Friday was the Boxing Day holiday, a statuary holiday in many areas, then Saturday and Sunday and up coming New Years. Most likely...
If I remember correctly, lift the back seat and I think there is a tag that you can scan to get ideas and possibly get the needed instructions for 3D printing. (way beyond my skill level). As said before, the fits plug is available on different sites.

All Mavericks are shipped with them, the funnell, auxillary wiring harness. My dealer leaves these items on the seat, so when taking delivery you know what's there and can store them where you want to, not where the prep person thinks is a good place. Then the question, what's this? that I...
HeyBales, it's definitely not Roman (the cat), but as I mentioned in another post, a brand name fob battery and not using the remote start as much, has definitely extended the battery life.
Ken
Icegradnor, I think one reason that my fob battery died so fast was the new 'novelty' of having a remote start and old school thinking of getting the oil circulating. Also the spare fob hasn't been used since I checked when I took delivery). XLT , with turn key to start and NO proximity...
Have you received any messages for 'battery saver' or 'deep sleep' issues. If so that would explain the App not being able to remote start the truck. The truck automatically cuts power to certain 12v items to save power for starting the truck, activating the necessary relays etc.
My key...
I would without hestitation, but won't becuase of personal reasons. My neighbours 5th wheel RV is parked in the snow for the winter.
I went to Detroit last spring for a family funeral, Serveral friends questioned my decision to cross the border, all because of perceived unfounded...
My memory just flashed. A 'Continental Kit' from the 60s. A vinyl or fibreglass cover?
That's the nice thing about the Maverick, very easy to customize, mod, Make it your own.
Ken
Thanks for the update. It sounds like you and my dealer tech are on the same page. After the one repair, Tech followed the SSM, replaced battery, I was still getting the 'battery saver' and 'deep sleep' notifications. After another trip, they advised me that FORD were working on the issue...
I asked the detail manager at my dealership what they used. Invisible Glass, it is meant for automotive use, do NOT use regular household window cleaner, they have ammonia and other chemicals that will eventually take the tint out of your aftermarket window tints.
He said the to spray...
23 XLT here, apple car play, kindergarten computer skill level. In the top left corner of the centre screen, press the home button and search for audio input, AM-FM-USB-CarPlay--.
Also when when your phone is connected to car play/android? it will first come on in full screen maps...
Time to buy a new fuse, probably less time than taking the maverick apart to find it. Just get an assortment or extras for the next time. Just like insurance good to have, hopefully never needed.

a 77 yr old here. Only travel a couple of times a month, but the car seat a absolute necessity,
" Yes, that is the anchor I am referring to. Both carseats that we have for our carpet crawlers have a button to loosen the tether strap, but it is hidden behind the seatback so that when you...
