When I see pictures like this, it just reminds me of how big vehicles have "grown" over the years!! Maverick is the right size coming at the right time!! I had an '08 F150 and I hated having to park that beast and fill it up!! What it cost me in gas for a week in the F150 I could ride my Harley for 3 weeks! Getting my hybrid is going to be about the same thing! With a rating of 42 mpg that's going to be like riding my Harley when it comes to gas/money savings! As far as fun factor, Harley still wins!!

When I first saw photos of the Maverick, at first glance all I saw was the front end and the four doors. Thought it was a bigger Kia Soul. Now I feel bad for even saying that.

The Maverick is exactly the size that I was looking for...don't need a big truck anymore...plus the MPG's for the ECO AWD work well for me.

Same here. I went from one of the biggest pickups you could get off the lot (F-250 crew cab, 8' long bed) to the shortest one available for sale at the time (Nissan Frontier SWB).

Waiting to kick it down (or up) another notch with a Maverick. Not the biggest truck, but it's enough truck, and certainly more usable than my Nissan Frontier for household chores. Holding my breath for a hybrid AWD!

Just goes to show how utterly bloated and huge the "full sized" pickups have become. If you need a big pickup, more power to you, but a lot of people don't need that much metal to drive around. If you live in or near a city, Ford really seems to have nailed the best form factor.

I'd take a smaller and more efficient (and cheaper) one if there was one on offer! But the Maverick will do nicely, thank you Ford ... if I get it someday ...

I’m pleased to see the comparison a little shocking but for me an old man it’s perfect. I am an amateur wildlife photographer and have missed some shots because I can’t see over top of a line of bushes I will be easily able to get into the back and add in most cases enough height. TMI I guess but it’s one of the hopes I’ve had. Everything about this truck excites me and I haven’t read one single major negative.
