Saw my trucks cousin in the parking lot again and parked next to her and snapped this pick. It really shows the differences on the front end of the black appearance package (BAP) versus one without.

I want the head/taillights from the bap so bad but I can't imagine how much they'd cost. I hope to find at least the headlights some day! I learned how to make the rears de-chromed if needed so they aren't as important. It makes the truck look more serious looking parked next to chromes light.

So glad I opted for the BAP on my carryover order. I thought I loved the silver, but this shows me how wrong I was lol

Will look awesome in Terrain

The Black Appearance Package looks hella nice. Although, I prefer the LARIAT wheels.
Same. Not a fan of the interior either. My carbon grey lariat has that shiny bezel on the grille too and rather than fight it I chose to use it as accent, but I'd rather they just used the darker one the XLT has. BAP headlights and taillights are killer looking, but at least I have the black accents in the lights vs. the all brights ones the other models have. IMHO those things clash way too much.

I just want the headlights from the BAP. You can easily convert the stock tail lights by using ZEP degreaser to get rid of the chrome. On my list of mods.

I selected the XLT because I did NOT like the Lariat rims or interior. That’s just me, and to each his/her own. As Dave Kindig says, “Get what you want, not what you need.”

I couldn't agree with you more. That's why I went with the Lariat. The XL and XLT just had a sorta low-budget rental car feel when I checked them out at the LA Auto Show last year.

Once I got inside a Lariat, I instantly knew that's what I wanted.

I have the BAP on a Shadowblack XLT. I really wanted the BAP (or Termor) interior over either the stock XLT or Lariat. If Ford didn't offer the BAP (or Tremor), I would have gone with the XL again just for the interior.

I do think that the standard Lariat interior might look good against the new Terrain color.

As much as everyone wanted Eruption Green (or any other green) on the Maverick, I think going with Terrain was a wise decision by the @Ford Motor Company product manager.

As for the wheels, I like the standard Lariat wheels too. I almost offered to exchange my BAP wheels straight across for the Lariat wheels. The BAP package wheels have grown on me now.

Your photo is very helpful.
I have the 2025 Lariat AWD hybrid on order. I was deciding whether to get the BAP or not.
I think the BAP will look good with Carbonized grey. I'm going for the tough, bad boy look.
I'll get A/T tires.
