I have been getting a lot of splatter on the side of my maverick and mud flaps would cut down on that but i don't know if i would like the look .
I use them on my F-150 and on my wifes Maverick. I can't remember which ones are on the 150 but I put the Ford ones on hers. It's just some protection and reduces the amount of crap that blows up on the undercarriage. I think they're worth it.

I just installed the OEM Splash Guards Yesterday morning. I washed the truck and had tons of rain last night. I like them and they work well at keeping road grime off of the fenders.

So a person can get the OEM mudflaps but if you tried to order them with your truck it will delay it for years?
Sigh.

To be fair, I ordered these back in October. I just got around to installing.

That's still only 3 months.
When I ordered my truck in sept 2022 I was told mud flaps or floor mats would be the kiss of death. It still took 1 year 3 months to get.
Not being able to source rubber mud flaps or floor mats.
A long way from owning their own rubber tree plantations in South America.
But now I can orders some and get them in a few months. Yea.

Hey AlsMaverick - did you have to drill any holes to install the OEMs? Or are they there already - or even clamp on?

No drilling. On the rears the instructions have you use two screws and two push pins. But you can actually use four screws. Two that are already on the truck and two provided. I think it's more secure.
I did add 3/8" foam insulation between the guards and the fenders where they contact the paint. Provides a nice, very little, gap to avoid rubbing the paint.

FWIW… I added some to prevent gravel marks on the somewhat chippy paint. Afterwards I am happy with appearance and it gives a truck looking vibe. Muslogy brand, very easy to install.

I put mud flaps on mine so the body and the front of my camper don't get so trashed. I got the widest ones I could find. Big difference. Mabett Mud Flaps
Those sure are a great price and they look really good too. I don’t know why, but I’ve been planning on getting Rockblockz until seeing how cheap these are….

I love the Ford ones, I just wish there was no logo. And they’re so pricey for a full set…
Where in Saskatchewan are you?

I got the OEM flaps from the dealer, easy install. They cost 109. but the dealer gave me a $100 gift card, so, $9:00. I haven't seen any that I like better.

I've installed them for over 30 years. Really helps prevent sandblasting the area behind the wheels, especially if you live in an area they spread salt/sand in winter. It also helps keep the sides of the truck clean during inclement weather.

If you're want a discounted set, I actually have a set identical to exranger's post above that are like new. Switched them for the Mabett units at most two months after installing to install the molded wheel flares. (They're not compatible with the wheel flares, as they wrap onto the fender lip). - Have some clear PPF to prevent them from scratching the paint as well.
