Unfortunately I can’t turn my head (fused neck). I can use my mirrors, but the back up screen is useless during daytime. I took it to the dealer and she turned the dimmer knob in the dash. No help
I got the OEM flaps from the dealer, easy install. They cost 109. but the dealer gave me a $100 gift card, so, $9:00. I haven't seen any that I like better.
I REPLACED MY TAIL LIGHT BULBS WITH ONES THAT FLASH QUICKLY THREE TIMES THEN GO ON TO REGULAR PATTERN. I SIMPLY GROUND OFF THE LITTLE TABS FOR IT TO FIT. I LIKE THE LOOK. However, when I hooked up the trailer the right turn signal didn't work. I took it to the dealer and they said that those...
If you get the Lariat model you get leds, if you get the XL you get incandescent. I replaced the bed lights and the difference was amazing, same for the back up lights. Seeing and being seen is important to me. I replaced the brake lights for the same reason.
I had trouble with the trailer light 7 pin. Right turn lamp would come on but not blink.. I had installed aftermarket leds which blinked several times when they first came on then returned to normal. I really liked the option, it made the lights much more noticeable. The problem is that the...
I'm really happy about my color choice, I don't think that I would have received as many compliments with another color choice, Maybe they're just reacting to the smile on my face.
I live on a mile long gravel road. The tan color seemed the logical choice because of all of the dust. But this is probably the last truck that I will have, so at this age I'm tired of logical .... I'll spray it off and enjoy the velocity blue.
Driver's side I got a panel with a USB port, cigarette lighter socket. voltage indicator and bright light. On the passenger side I got the cubby box. I drilled two small hole in the bottom and turned the tray to a vertical position. I put my trailer hitch, electrical adapters and gloves. I live...
I bought a horse stall mat for $50. It's about 1" thick, isn't going anywhere and when you cut it to fit the remaining piece fits the tailgate perfectly. I didn't attach it to the tailgate, I just leave it in there. If I have a long load I just lay it on the tailgate, it is heavy enough that...
There are threaded holes in the bedsides, but the holes were threaded before the bed was painted. So chase the holes with a tap if you don't want to break off a bolt in the holes.
I got the same one as Gvmumbral but I mounted it vertically on the front of access box in the center console. I used a 3/4' spacer to move it forward to clear the overhang of the access box, It works great, is out of the way and that model works vertically. I live on a one mile gravel road...
I live at the end of a one mile long gravel road. The cactus or camo would have been the safer choice. But I figured that this is probably the last truck I will own so I said "What the hell, I'm getting the velocity blue. I'm retired so I have the time to hose the dust off occasionally.
