I just installed mine as well, I wish the metal retaining clips were designed differently, especially where they were sandwiching the metal tabs on the fenders — I wound up hitting some paint scrapes with the Ford paint repair pen I had bought a few months ago.

I also didn’t like how the rear flaps had you install them with a screw pointed at the tire so I flipped that part around.

overall looks good! Hoping they help in the winter.

I noticed that some in the picture have the ford emblem on them and some do not. I found these on Amazon but for $110.
That's the same set as OP. I ordered that set and it came today.

They look great on your truck . Ordered mine installed from the factory . No flaps and no truck so far . Some people are saying to put 3M clear tape on the area the flap goes against . Or they will rub the paint off.

DO NOT install the factory mud flaps.

The edges on mine were very, VERY sharp and after only a few hundred miles started cutting into the paint.

I was able to buff most of it out but IMO the product is poorly designed junk that will damage your vehicle.

Sharp edges on molded plastic can easily be trimmed/sanded/filed to a blunt radius, which will also increase (thousandths of an inch, but hopefully enough) the clearance between the part and the paint. My OEM Ford accessory mudflaps are still in the packaging but I'll be sure to modify them prior to installation. Which is still TBD. Still waiting for a build date/window sticker, maybe today?

Had these on my build but understood they were a constraint took them off. Got a vin 2 weeks later. Never understood why they were a constraint. Just a molded piece of plastic.
