It's sad mine only has 4800 miles on it. Just was at the dealer they are still waiting for ford to spin the roulette wheel to decide what to switch out. So we can gamble on whether it works or not. If theychange a different piece on every one that has the problem eventually they might hit the answer

Well just talked with FORD MOTOR CO, they are all over this. They told the dealer to pull the old transmission and pull the service door , apparently you can only gain access to this with the unit out of the truck. Then look at the internal wire harness from the park prawl to another module. They have to report back to ford on there findings. Should know something next week. I also informed them there are several members on the forum having same issues and to reach out to them. I’ll keep you guys informed on what I find.

I can't get a time line of no kind from the dealership. All I been told is they are waiting for a open lift to pull the transmission. Who knows how long after that. Pretty soon my maverick will have been in the shop more than my driveway. Only 1600 miles sad.
We canceled my wife's 2024 Maverick, she said that she wanted a dependable truck and doesn't want a maverick after seeing my issues.

I contacted ford thru one of the members here on the forum. It says ford in her listing. She was a media person, but sent my info to a ford customer service rep. They contacted me the next day and wanted all the details. They then called me too. Another rep then contacted me and the dealer after they got all the info. They said all info was confidential . So I’ll let you start with the PM. I just searched for ford in the member list and the ball starting rolling .

I got a case # opened through ford customer support. Tech Tye guide me to this and now I'm seeing more urgency. They ordered me a new transmission. Seems they can get more done than us or even the dealer.

Good luck Paul , I should get mine back anytime now. They started the transmission swap Monday . Motor has to be pulled to get it out. Ford also requested that the tech open the old Tran and test some wire harness while it was out. They said it has a service door only accessible if the unit is out of the truck . I hope it’s something simple like pinched wire as it comes and goes after it warms up.

Good news, just picked mine up from the dealer. Seems to be working now. They installed a new Transmission. They opened up the old one and found a bunch of debris around the shift prawl motor. I’m not sure if it’s left over from manufacturing of if something failed leaving it behind. Ford wanted the old one back to see what’s going on with these failures. I’ll post the service tick tomorrow . Most of the parts were one time use bolts and a new transmission .

Well new update. The service writer texted me and hasn't heard from my ford representative and no transmission has been ordered. Said they hope to pull it and troubleshoot later this week. THEN wait again for parts. THEN probably wait for a lift again. I been waiting for a lift for 2 weeks now. Sounds like I will not see my truck for another month. Maybe I will get it back in time to trade for a 2025 toyota.

What in the world are they, 1 lift for the whole shop?. I would contact the ford person and let them know what’s up with the mom and pop shop that only has 1 lift. Paul miller ford in lex had multiple lifts, just 1 hybrid certified person tho to do the work. So far that fixed my issue by replacing the transmission . I don’t think ford wants them inside of the trans, just order a new one along with 20 one time use bolts. I posted the parts list of all the bolts that were needed.

They have 5 lifts one mechanic. They say they have a back log of 50 plus jobs. The ford customer service lady I talked to was the manager of my case representative, and told me they just work with parts, Has them expedited to speed up the process. She said they don't get involved with the troubleshooting process. So I give up and just cross my fingers that it's done before it's a antique.
