1. do you know who Howdy Doody is.

OK so I'm 61, have used a mechanical adding machine, Did CAD work without a computer, and I think I like the Geezer title.
I can sit and have ice cream while I chat with the younger population and - HEY! GET THE HELL AWAY FROM MY TRUCK!!!

I remember my father doing his taxes on a machine almost exactly like that one except it was blue and white.

Retired accountant here. Did a college internship at a GM factory. A lady in the office operated one of these without eye protection..

61 here. I absolutely love my '23 Hybrid Maverick XLT.
I finally got to use the bed and haul something back home from my weekend fun.

Wish I could have taken a bunch more home though LOL

67 and, at this point, trying to haul stuff AWAY from home. My '23 Lariat helps with that

I’m 71. My Maverick is a 22 Lariat AWD lux package, copilot 360, Cactus Gray. Currently 24K miles.

I was 68 when I ordered my 2022 XLT hybrid on 10/13/21. 70 when my 2023 finally arrived 3/6/23! First pickup for me. I was looking at old used Rangers which would have been fine but the prices were crazy.$22,280 for an XLT hybrid was just right. About $2000 in options, TTL about $27,500 out the door

I'm 61 today and I have had my maverick for two months now and still love it. I did however told my doughtier that this might be the last vehicle I buy, she didn;t like that comment at all.. oops!

Love this thread!!!! Feeling like a teenager because I am only 79. At our church, we have a highly decorated WWII vet who is the last living ally to have witnessed the surrender of the German Generals to Eisenhower at the Little Red School House. He is 101 years young and STILL drives his Ford Ranger to church every Sunday.

I took a picture of the gentleman I referred to in the above post. He was also in the Third Wave at Normandy and the Battle of the Bulge. He has definitely outlasted the blue oval on his Ford Ranger!!!! My CG Mav is in the far background.

I’m 76, just joined this forum with new Maverick, XLT, AWD, 2.0 with tow package.

Drove a 2011 Ford SD diesel towing a fifth wheel RV. Had 91,135 miles on this 12 yo SD. Sold the RV, traded truck for this mid-sized truck…basically downsized. Day 2, learning the controls, bells n whistles on this thing.

Already ordered mud flaps and window visors. Bed will be sprayed bed liner. Considering a tonneau.

I’m interested to read, learn what others have to share.
