Thanks for this post. I had saved it, knowing that my gutter guards would be installed soon. They recently finished doing that and I saved a perfect piece of scrap. I just installed it on my vent and my little project is now complete.

I think you have the correct parts. Looks like the rails are positioned correctly in that first photo but definitely not in the last one. The clips are not lined up right to secure. I watched this video a couple of times before I installed mine...helped a lot...

Picked up my Maverick in January and installed a BakFlip MX4. Went on easily and I am happy with it so far. If you message the Real Truck rep on here or call them (they are a Maverick Truck Club sponsor) you most likely will get a nice discount.

Bought it new in early '84. Only options were a/c and radio. Fun little truck but a tin can. Only 12 mo/12,000 mile warranty and had a LOT of issues that finally were resolved at about 25,000 miles so I kept driving it. Had for 8 years and over 80,000 miles when I sold it.

Similar to you. I picked mine up on Jan 30 but had only driven around town until this past weekend when I drove from south FL to NC, about 700 miles. Drove mostly around 75 and got about 38 mpg per the truck. My around town average has been in the low 40s. Was impressed and no regrets so far.

Originally ordered a hybrid 9/17/22 and of course, I didn't get a '23 but 501 days later, a '24 finally made its way home. Have been installing all the items I'd been stockpiling and just got it back today from being ceramic coated. Also had ppf put on the hood and front. Very happy so far.

My Maverick finally arrived last week (501 days after original order). So this week, I got to install all sorts of things I had been buying. One item was the tailgate hole cover. Thanks to P99Guy for a quality product that was a snap to install.

I originally ordered 9/17/22. 501 days later (this past Tuesday) I drove my Maverick home. Loving it!
